FAQ: Have you ever thought about having a less expensive line of Solar guitars? Kinda like how Fender has Squire or Gibson has Epiphone? You can call that line Lunar.
@@russellzauner I highly doubt that. Ola has already made amazing, high-quality guitars at a great price. Not speaking for him or putting words in his mouth but I don’t think he’s the kind of person to really be into that. Not really sure if you’re tone was meant to be negative or not. But if he wants to make a high quality luxury line then he is within every right to do so, and I bet they’ll be epic!
Also, Anselmo and Putnam recorded their vocals with Trent Reznor engineering the whole thing at the Nothing studios. I think this was the last project for Reznor before recording Antichrist Superstar with Manson
Wow, I had no idea... thanks for the extra info! I love TGSTK too, it was my first real introduction to Pantera's music when I bought it and the raw brutality blew my mind away. Phil was in such a dark place at the time but that actually made it all the more heartfelt and impactful. The album doesn't seem to be given the recognition it deserves compared to their earlier releases, and it should in my view.
When I record guitar, I usually make a simple beat similar to a clicktrack (just kick and snare), then record the guitar, then program a "real" fitting beat, and finally re-record the guitar until I'm happy. Works really well for me.
I really respect you not using Ads. I mean you could be making so much extra money but you choose not to. BTW Khamzat Chimaiev is the next big Swedish UFC star. That was so out of context.

I have the last JL7, is a fucking awesome guitar, sounds great, killer pickups, the clean sounds is loud as fuck, my guitar teacher, sponsored by ibanez, always asked for my guitar at the end of the lessons to rip some riffs on it. The neck is fast an comfy, the guitar es super lightweight

Pantera's GSTK is their best album & one of greatest metal albums of all time. Period. Swedish Hardcore is something you should talk about in one of your next videos - Refused & Selfmindead are 2 of the best! 🤘

yeah , floods and tens , some of my favorite solos , floods made me want to really get my pinches down and it just flows so nicely with the prelude to the solo and the outro wich are pretty much just variations to the structure of the solo . really good.
FAQ question, OLA do you think that with all the BS between the Dimebag estate and Dean, would Rita possibly ever consider SOLAR for Dime's Legacy to continue on with Shapes and Hardware that Dime would definitely approve of for his fans to purchase???
Don't know if they were mentioned before but if you didn't check them out out already, have a look at that Swedish punk band called The Friday Prophets. Reminds me of Offspring in some ways. The track Social Wreck is basically part of all my yt mixes

My Schecter Hellraiser C-1 is honestly one of the best guitars I’ve ever played. So smooth, and sounds excellent. The EMG pups sound exceptionally good too. Overall a very underrated guitar and pickup combo imo.
I have been playing Schecter for 10 years, currently owning that original Diamond Elite Superstrat and a Standard E-1 Explorer which edged out the Solar EXes by a tiny little bit because it's the most beautiful guitar in the world!

I agree that the tension between Phil and the brothers on trendkill gives it a dark, dark heavy dark vibe and I think it’s Pantera’s heaviest Dime and Vinnie sound pissed on the bangers and Suicide note pt. One and Floods are heavier than most other metal bands biggest heavy . If a Pantera album can be underrated it’s Trendkill

Change of seasons was an ep not an album but I still love you ola. I have the schecter in the thumbnail with the hip shot bridge not the Floyd and I love it a lot!
Agree on using click tracks as both a musician and engineer. Great for drummers, and for drum-less sections like intros, outros, etc. Guitar and bass players should be able to keep tempo and rhythm on their own. Strict adherence to the grid/click can make things far too robotic and overproduced sounding. a little looseness here and there can be a great thing.
I have a Schecter KM6 and C1 SLS Elite (guitar in the thumbnail) and both came with manufacturing issues. I had to send the KM6 back to get sorted, and the intonation on the SLS Elite was awful - no way that passed QA. Probably needs to get professionally set up. Both feel great to play but I doubt I'll buy another Schecter.
Question for the next faq. Since your a big fan of John Petrucci, and Dream Theater. You ever heard of Steve Morse? I’ve recently got into his playing and is a incredible guitar player. He is John Petrucci’a favorite guitarist. Oh what do you think of buckethead?

Ahh the Royal goodbye wave 👋🏽 . I use a double whistle for alerting my dog. They associate it with a piece of kibble so 90% of the time it works. The other 10% of the time they are focused on where the rabbits walked through the yard when the dogs were inside… what’s that ? 👀Squirrel!!! 🐕
