I really appreciate your authenticity, like for example talking about your ideas about buying a house. The more I look the more I find inauthenticity in everyday life, society, politics, anywhere really. Being authentic to me seems one of the most important things for people to live together peacefully but also to work through conflicts. Have you seen the Schecter Reapers? Those finishes reminded me of your Solars, also the cutaways of this years Ibanez Axion RGA, Jackson Dinkys, ESP Hs and even Mitchell MDs are similar to yours. Look at you Ola, setting trends in the guitar industry.

I bought my first house in 2018 and it’s best decision I ever made. Owning a home gives you pride and the feeling of “this is MINE”. And having a yard for kids to run around and play in is the best! Hope you achieve your 2019 dream! 🤘

Hi Ola, long time subscriber, love your content and style. I’m playing guitar for about 20 years now, mostly metal. Last couple of years I’m struggling to stay motivated to pick it up. Got young kids, career, post-master study, sports... just busy. I sold lots of gear and now just use my Jem and plugins (Reaxis). Somehow everytime I play now I get bored really fast. Would love to hear some advice from you: what should I do to get (and stay) motivated again? Thanks and have a great 2019!

Mark N man, I recently had some similar lulls in motivation/creativity. I scooped up a new guitar and started revisiting stuff I used to play along to when I was younger. Super simple Hypocrisy songs, or older At The Gates riffs. I’m no master, but playing along to stuff I dig really got my brain working again. I’ve got a couple songs outlined at this point. Pick it back up!!

Good luck with your home search Ola! I was very lucky in 2011 to have a down payment for a place in the San Francisco bay area and when market prices were bottomed out. (There's no way I could afford it now) The home search can be difficult and frustrating, but it's SO worth it. It's great to be able to play as loud as I want, but I usually don't... I value what's left of my hearing and already have a bit of tinnitus. Good luck to you!

Hi Ola! I wish you good luck regarding a new home, I can only guess how tough is it, especially with emotional attachment to your present one. My personal goal for this year is to develop all around better routines, schedules for studying and playing guitar, as in these last two years, I basically didn't arrange anything, and then wondered why I failed a subject or so. Love the show, probably the most important inspiration I get regarding guitar. (BTW, I'm writing this instead of studying, so I guess there's a lot to work on?)

Hey Ola! Your videos are amazing, I love everything that you are doing. I wonder sometimes while watching these FAQ's, is it more rewarding for you to create music or to create content like this that inspires budding musicians? I'm sure your music inspires people too, but I'm imagining the motivation for creating music is more personal. I quit my regular office job a little bit more than a year ago and started my production company for music events in Chile. Hey Ola, first of all I wanted to thank you for the inspiration you give to all of us and respect for the Hard Work you put in to get everything going (Work and Family etc.) !!! Most of all I enjoy your Sense of Humor, the FAQ's (great Way to start a Sunday morning) and your Livestreams. I cannot recommend your Membership enough :-) For the Future i also hope to own one of your Solar Guitars ;-) My Question for the next FAQ: In the past you owned a Kemper and you sold it, but why? I understand that an AX8 is more practical for your Live Work (because you like real Tube Amps more) but you never mentioned something about that. I am a Kemper Owner myself and i like it very much. I use it Live and in the Studio and we used it for our Band to Reamp the last Album with it. I think it's awesome to have so many Choices today, but sometimes it's a little bit overwhelming... Good luck for getting your own house in 2019, Ola! Thats a big dream, but nothing is impossible) You have almost 300k subs, a big amount of them are ready to support you, so just go on with what you're doing and you'll get it. Actually Im pretty amazed that russians are more than 10 percents of your subs. Seems like metal culture is getting up from the knees in my country

Follow your dreams yo! This years goal is to record a EP with new band, new high end TAMA kit, stop taking my medication thats part of my recovery, and hook up with a Iowa girl. Been here over a year, got clean and sober, my own house and doing way better then before I moved from west coast. Best wishes Ola, make it happen!

Hey Ola, what's up from Florida. I know you don't talk about upcoming solar models, but it would be awesome to see the E style body in a 7 string. I'm currently playing a Washburn Solar 7 string and love it. Rock on bro.
