Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm sorry, I don't use a sheet music as such. I usually take some notes on a piece of paper for the parts that are a bit different from the main groove of the song. I also regularly make "charts" that can be played in a Guitar Hero-like game called Phase Shift (but it also works with the much better known Clone Hero). It helps me to understand what's going on behind the drums, but also to actually play it. You're in luck, I've charted this song - feel free to send me a mail for a link or more information! I think you can see my email on the "About" section of my channel. More rarely, I also use a free online tool called Groove Scribe, which lets you write down a few bars at a time. It's closer to a real sheet of music, but I find it rather limited and time-consuming to use... But it can help you grasp certain parts better (if you manage to write them down first). But in the end, about this particular song, it is quite repetitive and not that difficult. Here, I play pretty much note for note, so you can also use the video and slow it down if you need to... You got this!
Thanks a lot! Well, in my "old" covers (before September 2023), I used the body of an MPS-150X slightly modified with the module of an MPS-850. The cymbals weren't very responsive and everything was very cramped... It was a nice way to start I guess, but I quickly got the urge to use something else. It took a little while, but I've since switched to a proper MPS-850 and it's made quite a difference, especially with the hi-hat and the ride. So, on this cover, I only had this kit for a couple of weeks. As for sounds, I've been using the free VST plugin Steven Slate Drums 5.5 since the beginning - which is just right for me.
Thanks! Haha you're not exactly in the right place then - but sure, feel free to make one! Actually, it's funny, I saw a couple of covers from around the same time I posted mine... But there's always room for one more!
