Snipers are OP in this game, shotguns and pistols are underpowered, bottom line because of how the weapon slots are designed and how weapons behave certain ones aren’t worth to be used at all
@@blueshit199 Cuz these are IEDs ( Improvised Explosive Devices ), therefore they are pretty much homemade bombs as some might say. Usually used by Insurgent Groups around the World , they are made outta everything you could get your hands on… from cellphones to car batteries and obviously old ammunition. In the game… we get to see what it looks like an old anti vehicle mine; a mortar round; and three odd looking tubes ( which I don’t really get what they are supposed to be ) … all of these repurposed due to the unavailability of C4 for these groups to use. Bottom line… u gotta make use of what u got in hands.
For all the Gun Nuts: 1911 - Should not eject to the left, single-action (needs to be cocked before firing), the hammer should remain cocked after each shot Makarov: Empty magazine loaded, is double-action but the hammer should remain cocked after each subsequent shot, should not eject to the left. Deagle: same with the eject, hammer remains uncocked. MAC-10: wrong ejection, upper charging handle should stay locked back after being pulled (it's not being pulled all the way too), as the gun fires from an open bolt. Uzi: Same as the MAC-10 but at least the charging handle doesn't move while the gun is being fired. MP5SD: The charging handle should not move, wrong eject, spent casings look like 5.56x45 NATO not 9mm Parabellum, empty magazine, no HK Slap - though the gun could be reloaded this way the magazine would be difficult to insert (worst one so far). Ithaca: The Ithaca ejects spent shells to the bottom not to the left (like here) nor the right, no shells ejected, weird iron sights, the gun is racked short (meaning a new shell is not inserted) SPAS-12: It's not called 12 because it hold 12 shells in the magazine, but because it's a fucking 12 gauge. Wrong eject again. USAS-12: The rate of fire is way too high. Imagine an AA-12 slightly quicker. 870 MCS: wrong ejection port, holds 6 shells instead of 7+1 in the chamber, the suppressor is ridiculous (it even has iron sights on it instead of them being on the gun itself). Sawed-Off: According to the HUD, uses 1 shell to fire both barrels... G3A3: Just as terrible as the MP5SD, shells still 5.56 (though that's better than the 9mm fluke), fires 7.62x51 NATO (.308 Win) AK-47: wrong eject, looks to be in semi-auto based on the position of the "safety". Ejects 5.56 shells (fires 7.62x39). Golden AK-47: Bling Bling, Baby. FAL: wrong eject, barrel too short by default, empty magazine, weird looking handguard, charging handle on the wrong side, fires same cartridge as the G3, ejects 5.56. AR-16: Why ever it's called the 16 is a mystery, probably to avoid licensing as the AR-15 is the semi-auto only civilian version of the M16. Mirrored upper receiver, weird L85 looking handguard, weird frontpost, rail welded to the receiver instead of being a part of it. M1903 Springfield: We don't talk about this one. Edit: I'll finish this tomorrow, I'm tired :).
The AR-16 is not a gun made without having licence to be called a AR-15,but in fact it is a real gun taht was SO FUCKING TERRIBLE IRL you won't beleive it,it was called a ArmaLite AR-18,and in-game it is a modified version of it.
The shotgun reloads are so fast compared to the others it's hilarious (unless you count the DB sidearm, that one was a pain to reload (which is a good tradeoff for it using regular pistol ammo))
For those in the comments who are complaining on why most guns are left-handed: This is because it's easier to animate and to showcase the animations. It's just a video game, please stop complaining.
It still triggers me how MP5's cocking handle is moving along bolt when firing and that MP5 ejected 5.56 NATO shells. Excluding that, this game is still amazing.
I missed the USAS-12 in Far Cry 3. If there's only one weapon you can have on Far Cry, is in my opinion the Buzzsaw from Far Cry 4. With that this you don't have to fear anyone or anything. it mowed down enemies as rhinos or helicopters with ease. You can even do some Sniper work with it. has lots of ammonition and reloads fast. As good as a minimum.
When you look at the Rainbow Six Vegas' shotguns(both games) they all use the Ithaca's pump sound from here(except the one that can be attached to rifles), and their firing sounds are edited versions of the Ithica.
what I don't understand is in Farcry, u have an M4 or M14, when I'm every other FC game, u start out with an STG or AK-47 as your primary starter weapon
The juiciest reloading of weapons (sound and animation): MP5SD (if possible, I bought it right away) The most miserable reloading of weapons: M1903 Weapons in Far Cry 2 that were not in other games: Star Modelo P (Spain) (I am glad that everything is historically reliable: it was supplied to South Africa) (this pistol is the younger cousin of the M1911 (USA)) The most interesting and quite correct jamming removal: AR-16 (it should be a little different, but still successfully made the animation of jamming removal) MGL-140 Craftsman Shotgun (Sawed-off) Weapons that are left-handed or right-handed are still correct (the release of cartridges in which direction should be): USAS-12
@@Type90-IIM I think it's meant to be made for details for "Gun Porn" aesthetics and also meant like that so the malfunction jamming animations simpler to create (man, even EA Black doesn't have any complaint from players although their AK-47 and Uzi were got mirrored)
michele langertz Ubisoft did not bother to add them, although tactical reloads were possible in games before 2008. With all the other details, that annoys me.
I just realized that they screwed up PM's reloading. Its magazine sits in place kinda stiff, and also there's no release button on the grip side, it's located at the bottom of the grip, as I remember. Damn it, Ubisoft
VERY good video m8! Just now I noticed that the silenced shotgun ejects to the side while the Ithaca ejects from the botton! They (and you) where very meticulous.
Easier to animate at the time or probably just some worrying with the original gun model and them thinking that the game will be screwed over if they use the original
I do not get it. Why do you say it's left handed when the gun is right handed? I mean, just asking because i saw nothing wrong in the gun anims. Just asking again.
GoatMan89 probably concerned because it's being held right handed but is a left handed gun so the animations don't look good like the bolt action sniper animation.
Whatever happened to guns in the recent far cry games. Primal is the only fc games not to have guns, but many guns from fc2 are not in fc3 or fc4. And jesus what the fuck happened to the deagle in fc3 and 4. It sounds so bad
