Far Cry 3 "Kicking the Hornet's Nest" (Burning the Marijuana Fields) 

THIS IS HOW YOU PLAY THIS MISSION. Burning everyone. Exploding the others. No regard for the health bar. Hell yeah.

This game deserves a mandatory 3 playthroughs atleast. 1. Experience the story 2. Feel like a bad ass 3. Create a savepoint right before this mission 👍

Best mission in Far Cry 3 hands down

far cry 4 you were just able to just shoot guys and other stuff but in far cry 3 you got to burn weed and listing to dubstep

I just finished the game and this mission was the best. both Jason and the player are enjoying it.

If you played this mission stealthy, you should be ashamed. Edit: You should also leave the boat a head start and then shoot it with the rocket for a more cinematic climax.

Man farcry 3 was the best. This mission was by far my favorite but the game had amazing character progression. Jason started being a clueless frigthened boy and then after all that violence that pushed him to his limit he become one with the island. You could see it the way he talks to his friends and mostly his girlfriend that he is becoming totally badass. Even the small detail of how re reloads the gun by throwing the magazine in the air and then picking it up adds up to his new self.

I like how at the beginning the song starts then he buys a skill then continues

This was my first far cry game, i didn’t know what to do, but when I heard the music, just started plowing through everything without regard for my healtlh. It was the music which gave me that adrenaline rush.

I like how the song is mixed to the mission where the song never ends until the mission ends

That skills thing was awesome man!! Didn't know it was helpful but man!! That 4 levels of health one is awesome!!! Couldn't complete it in weeks and then bumped up the health and bam!!! 5 minutes it was! Thanks a lot😂

Last gen was such an epic era in gaming. So many memorable missions or cutscenes that once you've played them you'd never forget them. Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 through Modern Warfare 3, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Fallout 3, GTA IV, Far Cry 3. It's kind of a shame a lot of games have been feeling bland this generation.

This was the best mission out of the whole game imo. Aside the mushroom trip we got in the beginning. Felt like a badass throughout this whole mission. 😈

Jasons voice lines in this gameplay were so perfect lol. I especially love the "FUCK YEAH!" right after the explosions at 1:46. Those lines from Jason remind you hes a person and sort of being seduced by war and starting to change pyschologically. I like how he starts off scared and green, and gradually starts becoming the threat and even enjoying it judging from his lines here, and then culminating in his ending speech where hes wondering if he can ever return to normal life again.

Who can't help but think of this when doing the same thing in Farcry 6

I played this mission stealth like. It can be done. I hope this post might help some having difficulty or frustrated with this mission. I need to use a gamepad on account a recent disability left me unable to effectively use a mouse. The pad is fine but even with two good hands I never used one. I can play with it fine but am still getting used to it. So stealthy for this one. It is possible. My way approaching from the north is take some animal repellent first off. Toss a grenade from distance at the two bad guys guarding the fields, kill the incoming Charger and the dog. I then burned the three fields, lighting them quickly and moving on as the flames spread. I went to the small NE shack just above the fishing village and undetected tossed molotovs onto the two remaining fields below. I don't recall if the guards burned or I killed a few but resistance was next to nothing. With no enemies in sight I crept slowly and quietly into the NE part of the fishing village below armed with a PKM. You know that heavy duty 100 round machine gun. I made my way south using the huts as cover until I reached the last hut near the dock. I was spotted and took cover beneath the last hut which you can crouch through making your way to the dock. With good cover provided I took out several enemies and damaged a Heavy. Now the trick. With a clear view to the dock I took out the Charger standing guard. Thats all it took for safe and quick passage. I emerged from beneath the hut and tossed a molly on the Heavy and then hammered him with the machine gun. After dead I ran onto the dock unmolested and took out the boat. The enemies will come to the dock afterward looking to kill you but its easy taking them out. And well, little or no damage taken and no health kits used. Good fun🙂

The flamethrower sounds scary, like a roaring dragon

was pretty hard on warrior with only the bow and the flamethrower. fun nonetheless, especially with molotovs

When I played this part, I went with total stealth. But this seems more fun :D

When I passed this mission I had no idea skills existed, I did not have a RPG (I did not see the one in the mission), I had only two life bars, I did not have life potions; I only had an ak47 with iron sights, a sniper rifle, the fire launcher, and my 2 balls. I was so noob I ended up being pro 😂

I'm surprised so many found it hard. I just did a Rambo with this and did it in one. Then again, I did have an RPG as well...

This was my first instinct as well but I always screwed it up. Ultimately I gave up on stealth and blitzed the place to get it done.

tihs was easy for me but still the best mission cos of the dubstep and but didnt really use the flamethrower for this one i used the bow and fire arrow. all i needed was one arrow on each one square field.
