The song choice, "should I stay or should I go" is a very clever little easter egg, because when you first get control of Ajay, you can choose to leave Pagan's house, or stay right where he told you for a secret ending.
I mean Ajay is native to the land, and was in the Army. Jason is some irresponsible party kid, that has to shape himself into a killer. Jason showed so many signs of PTSD and just going fucking crazy. I mean he started to like killing.
Heres the thing I don't get, its a reaction channel so he's reacting or well talking( a mix of both) If you want to see the video just look it up normally without the reaction.
@@williamparabellum2787 Perfectly understandable, but this dude is far louder than everyone else and the video. So him talking almost constantly is damn annoying.
Not every Far Cry protagonist is a young male in his 20s. Jack Carver of FC1 was in his mid to late 30s, and in FC2 each playable protagonist ranged from ages of 20s-50s. FC3 had 25 year old Jason and FC4 is 22 year old Ajay. :-)
>sees one scene of the protagonist, not even clear He's white! He's white! Heck yea! No buddy boy. If you play the game and look in the character sheets, he looks very much Asian.
Ajay is not “white with a little bit of Asian in him” dude is literally Asian. They saw a tidbit on a phone screen in game from a distance away and said “he has light skin, must be white”
I gotta say not all Far Cry characters were douchebags. In 2 you were a mercenary hired to take down a warlord. In 1 I forgot what his deal was but he was in his 40s I think.
Far Cry 1 protagonist wasn't very special, he was just a cliché tough guy hired to sail a reporter to some tropical islands, boat gets sunk and the predictable story begins The gameplay and setting were awesome though
...In Far Cry 2, you perpetuated a civil war for a quick buck. You made sure that both sides had high casualties but made no progress because you thought it would help you find the warlord, who was your mark. And that had the most execution animations in the series.
Aya Drevis gotta admit, probably the most bad ass I felt when playing a game when that came out, you almost felt like you were one of the animals on the island killing everything, while also dual wielding mp5's and other various armaments
Ajay does look similar to some protagonists. But he's like a light skinned Asian dood. He looks like a kpop jpop kinda guy. But yeah, he looks like a generic white guy too lol.
The internet exploded today over the controversy caused by Ubisoft's decision to make a video game with a white protagonist. I'd turn that into a joke but that's like making cheddar into cheese.
+Gavin Allerton The jaggy edges around most textures is called Aliasing. Most Consoles do not have a form of Anti-Aliasing (AA) which is a real puzzler when the Dreamcast had built in AA.
just now seeing this, but Ajay is not white. At least not in the normal meaning of it. His last name is Ghale (gah-lay) and both parents were kyrat natives I believe. And Farcry 2 had multiple non white protagonists.
Joseph Staggs They are on bath salt don't worry about this fucking cancerous channel they always have a reason to complain. And yes complain not critique.
White Lotus yea I had to force myself to finish the gta5 play through. I get doing a let's play can be difficult as far as concentrating but holy shit...
Yeah, I agree with Fraser. Making someone "mixed" but still looking white is just a cop out. That's like when they have that one character in a sitcom that used to be fat. Sure, they allude to how hard it was for them, and they might show a flashback of the actor in a fat suit played for laughs but with the important message that "fat people are people, too", but you don't have to put up with seeing a fat person on the show every week. All of the diversity with none of that pesky "social responsibility" to weigh it down.
Pokerface To add to the other reply, people in that region of the world (the Himalayas) have pretty diverse phenotypes, with looks ranging from "Indian" to "East Asian", and not everyone there has dark-brown skin. All that being said, Ajay's actual profile image shows pretty damn clearly that he's not white. Making all this even more hilarious, Pagan's the one who's both mixed (British-Chinese) and non-native (again, British-Chinese).
We'll his mother is from kyrat which means she has some Asian in her but the protagonist was born in America and judging from the selfie his father is probably white so?................ He is mixed does that explain?
no, i mean during the show how did someone confirm not white -when I searched far cry 4 protagonist, no official news popped up saying that, just speculation from a forum.
@Valeskakid Well believe it or not usually reactors will watch the video and then TALK AFTER ITS DONE. Or PAUSE AND THEN TALK about events before unpausing, not just talk over the entire video and not only make it hard for viewers to hear but clearly for the others in the room too. That guy in the blue never seems to stop talking for once. You act like he should go watch non commentary videos when in reality the commentator is just being overly annoying even for a commentary video.
