Although I didn't like this FarCry all that much, I was thrilled with Giancarlo's efforts for the villain, definitely my second favorite villain in the series, I never thought I'd see the day someone would beat Vaas Montenegro

This is a great actor Giancarlo is honestly the best at everything he does anytime his characters are on screen he steals the show you can see him living in that moment as if it was real which helps sell it as real a truly immersive person

Giancarlo is one of those actors that can just ooze charisma in everything he's in. In just this less than 2 minute clip he switches effortlessly between jovial, funny, charming and intimidating, in a way that just draws you in.

I love Giancarlo Esposito, never played a farcry game but he makes me consider it.

I like this from all FC series, they bring them bad guys alive, and thats pretty cool !

Crazy how he's the second actor from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul to be a villian in Far Cry. The actor that played Vaas was Nacho from BCS.

Wow. Just wow. This is probably the best trailer in the history of Ubisoft. I literally had goosebumps. Giancarlo's acting skills are perfect. I want to watch all the movies and TV shows with him more and more, and also play Far Cry 6. I really hope that he will get a lot of attention in the game

Honestly after playing this game for almost 40 hours and still not finishing it, giancarlo is really the greatest part of this game, his acting makes me aprecciate him soooo much more, i loved his acting as Gus Fring and this is probably his second best acting he ever did

I don't know, maybe it's just because it's late at night and I've started slipping into this abyss of semiconscious consumption of media, but something about the existence of this video makes me feel odd. Like, the internet has arrived at a state where companies produce advertisements and those advertisements are then reuploaded by other, completely unrelated entities, not for direct financial compensation (in the way of a traditional sponsorship deal or something similar) but mainly to show the ad - or certain aspects of it - to other people. I mean, let's not beat around the bush, this is a straight forward Far Cry 6 advertisement, there are no twists, no subversions, no out of context cuts, this is the real deal. But, despite how much pretty much everyone is annoyed by ads playing before or during a video, people (me included) willingly click on it, with the expectation of seeing an ad and nothing more. Now, this is purely anecdotal, but I got the original ad back when the campaign was still running and wasn't too interested in it (neither the product nor the advertisement) and yet still, despite roughly remembering the video, clicked on this video today. Am I crazy? Why did I do that? Why did so many other people do that? What value did I get out of a fairly uninteresting ad that I watched before for a product I don't care about? If you were to ask me if I had wanted to see this video as an actual pre-roll ad instead, I would have said "no", so why did I pick it? Perhaps it is the thin veil of feeling in control that made me click on this video. "I choose to watch this ad; because what could be a greater sign of control than choosing to watch something that others are forced to watch?" At the end of the day, the advertisement has won. We were the target and we where hit.

A very excellent marketing move. Focusing on villain than the protagonist instead, it's what the fans of the series were asking for. Giancarlo Esposito is the entire reason to play and replay FC6. No words to explain how brilliant and marvelous his performances are. Thanks Ubisoft for giving us such an intimidating and charismatic character ❤ you have us where you wanted.

May as well tag this for SPOILERS if you haven't played FC6 yet. This guy is extremely underused in FC6 making me think they ran out of time or didn't have the money to hire him for longer... he doesn't even have his own boss fight
