Well, I was not expecting Far Cry 6 Joseph: Collapse this soon. I was fully expecting this DLC to be released in March, I mean we had two months from the Vaas to Pagan DLCs so that made sense. Not to mention we just got a Rambo Crossover DLC but literally less than a month after Pagan DLC boom Far Cry 6 Joseph Collapse. I mean respect to the team working on these DLCs. You guys have been killing it and I am very impressed. These Become the Villain DLCs have been fantastic, I didn’t really have any expectations for them when they were first announced and part of me was a little worried they would ruin some of my favorite antagonists in video games but it’s safe to say they have done all of these characters justice. Seriously I was not disappointed by a single one of these DLCs in fact they all surpassed my expectations. Admittedly I wasn’t as excited for Joseph Collapse as I was for the first two mainly because it’s just been so long since we’ve seen Pagan and Vaas and we saw Joseph in Far Cry 5 and New Dawn but I was still looking forward to this and I figured if they could pull off what they did in the first two for Joseph Collapse by expanding and creating more depth to the story and character in meaningful ways while keeping that fun addicting gameplay loop and system than it was gonna be a success and that’s exactly what they did. In my opinion Joseph is the best villain and I just think this DLC proved it and I love the message of both the deputy and judge were in the wrong and they learn to come together it’s so beautiful in a twisted way

the only real issue I had with the dlc was the fact that (at least from what I know of) none of the other actors for the seed family returned which for me kinda sucked since I loved all of their voices and personalities that just could not be translated with the new voice actors.

Yes I found that very odd and it was also very similar with Pagan Control as they had different voice actors for Ajay and Yuma. Seems Vaas Insanity was the only one where all the main characters reprised their roles, or at least Jason and Citra did. Maybe the actors were busy or maybe Ubisoft didn't even reach out to them, really strange and a little disappointing.

I love how they used the nukes for his mind collapsing, and between waves in the final stand how the blue sky would appear for a moment when Joseph was defying the voice in his head. The symbolism in these dlc has been crazy.

The Pagan DLC had the best setting just like FC4. The vaas one honestly had the most moving story in my opinion, showing how citra manipulated him. But I think the overall best one was Joseph’s collapse. I think it was because of the awesome side characters as well, or maybe cause I’m just a huge simp for faith

From my understanding of the story, these are some things that I'd like to point out: -Faith(The woman in the Voicemail, not the FC5 one) was the mother of Joseph's Unnamed Daughter. As the voicemails in the secret ending were most definitely on the day the accident occurred. -Ethan's mother was named Megan, as one if the letters you find in Joseph's Sanctuary in New Dawn states that she raised Ethan and wasn't strong enough to stand beside Joseph. -It was hinted back in Far Cry 5 that the Faith you kill wasn't the first one, again told by letter.

Oh it's outright stated by Far Cry 5. There is a letter you can find in the Hope County Jail talking about how Rachel (Game faith's real name)) isn't the first one to carry that name. The note in the jail was most likely written by Lana, the previous Faith before Rachel, who was murdered and whose body was dumped in Horned Serpent Cave. and there is a voice line from one of the NPC's about how there was a tall long-haired brunette woman who had the name before her (Also likely Lana, the Faith that wrote the note in the jail)

I think the reason there are so many Faiths is because Joseph became so upset after his original Faith died that he began to try to find others who could replace her role, so he could live in he illusion that she never died. He sounds like he is very controlling and manipulative towards the Faiths. This could be because he wants them to be just like his original Faith. I think in the vision of Faith (Rachael) in the bunker when she slaps him and renounces her Faith identity, he doesn't get angry because of her aggression. Instead he is angered because the illusion is broken and he is reminded of his loss.

Ethan is not OG Faith's son, the timelines don't line up there. He has a mom, her name is Megan and that's about all we know about her. I liked the video! For the most part, I agree. The gameplay felt really fresh and I like how they adapted each DLC to fit the uniqueness of the villains.

Seriously I love love loved all of the dlcs. Nothing feels better to revisit the villains we all love so much and to play as them. Then coming to learn the back story of characters related to who we play is just so intriguing. I was in the end very happy with everything.

i loved all the dlcs pagan being my favorite but something about the joseph one made me want to replay far cry 5 and new dawn so badly hearing the soundtrack again reminded me how good it was and seeing the seed family again reminded me how actually good the story is in 5 i also now prefer 5 over 6 now even though 6 was a great game and i really enjoyed it

I cannot stress enough how important the Buff that allows you to reloot your stuff after you die is trust me I had 100 hours down with some very good hard to find buffs (like one that puts you out if you get set on fire) and almost lost it all due to a dam horse that decided to play lets Explore under the map..be sure if you can to go for that buff first or while your playing because if the game glitches YOU WILL NOT LOOSE YOUR STUFF

I enjoyed this DLC a lot. I truly felt bad for Joseph but now I think he finally redeemed himself. I was still glad to see the heralds, the Deputy, Jerome, Ethan and even Angels (one of the best enemy types of the whole series imo). I was hoping to see more visions of Joseph's wife and child, maybe even the moment he heard the voice.

I have a weird theory about the voice. Would if it is the demon Yalung from Far Cry 4 or something like Yalung or even the ink monster from 3. Proof of this comes in how the voice is able to show future events to Joseph, is ok with what Joseph has done, and lastly, uses vines just like we see Yalung use with his relic in The Valley of the Yeti's dlc (granted Yalung uses orange vines)

They could even do a dlc for, if they're interested, Mickey from New Dawn, since of the twins she's the brains and feels responsible for her sister. It could also delve into life during the apocalypse and their relationship with their psycho dad who founded the highwaymen.

I'll be honest I feel like this Joseph DLC was a lot weaker than the previous two. First of all this one only had 8 visions?? The Vaas one had 18 and Pagan one had 16. This one got fucking 8? Second of all they didn't bring back any of the voice actors from the seed family except Joseph. This really threw me off and I couldn't take the scenes seriously knowing how they sound completely different. I think they did Joseph justice in this, but the others they half assed completely. Also the secret ending in this one was so lame compared to the others. Still enjoyed it, but just saying it was the weakest out of the 3.

In my opinion this was a pretty good DLC, and was in fact worth playing it had many good easter eggs and had many reveals from what was told to you by the seed family in FC5 and was pretty well done. The only this i didn't like about this dlc was, I wish that they had put a bit more background on joseph's past. Like how that voice in his head manifested, or how his childhood was, (shown rather then heard over recordings) and the last thing, i wish that they had connected the nuke ending and explained somehow why Hope County was nuked by ajay.

I really loved this DLC already being a huge fan of FarCry 5 it really made it more appreciative, I was just on this other person's channel and she hated the DLC and people were saying that the siblings in the visions turned on Joseph seed but I think it's actually pretty accurate cause you to have to remember that they were all villains, John was angry and hurt, Jacob was prideful and mentally insane and faith was just depressed and lost (without Bliss). Tbh it was kinda accurate to what would happen cause after they were done with the project what would they do next? would they be fulfilled? And remember that even Joseph said to john on a phone call in FarCry 5 that he needed to let go of his past cause even after all the atonements and confessions that john was doing it won't be enough to satisfy him. Also, the idea of the villains was cool cause they were trying to destroy the sins of society yet they struggled with their own internal sins themselves.

do you know what a good idea for a "expansion game" Blood dragon/primal/new dawn type would be? the stroy of the Yara in the 76 and how was the first movement before Anton and all... for the deputy part, would be a nice touch to put your Save file character there.

i dont even know what far cry game is my favourite tbh. after i played fc5 some time ago i thought about it and the gameplay is just too good, i also loved the story so overall id give it a 9 out of 10. before i played fc5, fc4 was my favourite surely but i just dont know man, i guess top 3 for me is fc5 fc4 and fc3, i just dont really like fc3's gameplay a little outdated in my opinion, like time has passed so the only thing i still like in far cry 3 is the story and the fact that i can actually play it with no problem on my potato pc

I loved these more then the Main Story to 6. All 3 of these DLCs had better story then the Quirky Millennial Virtue Signalling story of 6. But Juan Carlo Esposito did an excellent job & Diego's Actor did a great job. Edit: also the only criticism is that the Actors & Actress that played Jacob, John, & Faith didn't return which kinda sucks cuz all 3 did a fantastic job in 5.

Slight correction: the original Faith isn't Ethan's mother-New Dawn reveals her name as Megan-but the mother of Joseph's baby daughter, who he euthanised at the behest of The Voice, leading him to form the Project at Eden's Gate.

First Faith was Sarah second Faith was Rachel (enemy in far cry 5) and third/3 Faith was Megan (note from Megan in far cry new dawn).

There are 3 others you learn about in 5 if you do the kings hotel there's a note talking about a 2 different faiths and in a peppers stash you find another note talking about a different faith

For real l am playing it a second time fc5 and l love it on my ps4 pro with beautiful graphics.... For me there aren't many things l don't like in this game . I think only the combat may be a bit frustrating at times but that's ok. It is cool to have a second game and a DLC about Joseph. Amazing games.... Except from Far cry New Dawn which was meh .

We all thought the dlcs were gonna be garbage. Glad to be proven wrong, but it's gonna be hilarious to see if they do one for Anton, but I wonder how that'd work given he..dies.
