If far cry 3 gets hard at the start don't give up. Whenever you take over a compound always approach with stealth. Mark all your enemies and get down their position. If you go in loud be sure to take out the alarm boxes (Either a stealth sniper from a radio tower or go and sneak up on it.) Get the tribal knife asap because those are the chargers biggest weakness. (IT TAKES ENIMIES OUT IN 2-3 HITS INSTEAD OF 5) There are 2 types of chargers. Shotguns and Flame runners. I would suggest taking the radio towers to gain XP so you could upgrade health and get snipers and you know where you're going. If 10 pirates are chasing you and you have no chargers after you run outside and around the compound. They think they lost you. Oh and the XP from the first compounds invest in takedowns ASAP in the skill tree.

Looks like the .308 Carbine, which is 2 star and you can find it randomly. I recommend the SVD instead, it's a 3 star sniper that you can put some insane mods on. If you do special operations and have Moneda, go to Lola and wait till she has the Alpha Wolf or the White Lotus in stock, those two are the best snipers in the game (equally as powerful).
