Honestly hope the "72 hours resue family members" is just a rumor, doesnt sound Far Cry at all, IMO, part of whats fun about Far Cry, is exploring, finding loot, unlocking new things, taking time to fish, hunt, or stupid things you can do, but fun none the less, so I really hope they dont time the main story quests..
@@BalboaMania4K Yeah, if they time it, depending on some other factors too of course, may be the first Far Cry game I dont buy, but we all play Far Cry for different reasons, some like the story, some mechanics, some gunplay, some fishing/hunting/mini games, some just messing around in vehicles, so we will have have to decide if it looks interesting to us at the time, right now we can hope...
Totally agree. I played all the Far Cry's for relaxing and exploring, between the action and killing. Sometimes I have only the sound of the woods on on the background, while doing some stuff in the household, which gives peace of minds. (Hearing the birds, leaves and other stuff, like screaming people, hahaha.) Either way, no stress. This sounds like total stress, so the opposite. Just like the parts in Far Cry 5, where you used to shoot this many people in a minute orso. Otherwise you couldn't go further in the game. Hated that! Hate the time limited parts. So please, please, please, don't let this Far Cry 7 be that way. Otherwise I need to wait till Far Cry 8 has to come out... :(
The Far Cry games were all great, the worst thing they could do is mess with the formula. Just more of the same will be fine. If they want to do something different then it should be a new game altogether.
Well they don’t have many options as the far cry series is losing popularity and one of the main reasons people use for not playing the games is “repetitive”🤷♂️
I'm not playing any games with a timer. Not even any far cry game where there is a time limit like far cry 6 races o where you have to steal depleted uranium. I play far cry games for the nice maps to explore and find loot. I have played every far dry game and it looks like 6 will be my last. Ubisoft you are going to waste time and I'm sure I'm not the only one. But your choice and my choice not to waste my money on it
I am very skeptical because he said saints row, but there’s a sliver of hope because he said far cry five I like far cry five it’s one of my favorites.
As for family members, there will be four I reckon: Beth Ann Donaldson, Wendy Beth Rogers, Candice ("Candy") Loretta Beth Ann Donaldson, and maybe like Wilbur Washington I guess?
I hope they don't do the time aspects as explained. Similar to death loop game I played where you Kill all the targeted persons in a time limit, like 24 hrs, or loose start over. I loved the look of this game but hate these aspects so i don't play it much. Im not a fan of this. I'll skip this game if this is the timer in the farcry game. I don't like the loops in the returnal game, too. i hope they don't do that like Groundhog Day. Die then start at the very beginning. I got rid of this beautiful action game because of this aspect. Far cry 6 game was amazing. It was a great story, likable lead, action, beauty, and no timer. Other than the weird dlc, released it was a wonderful game.
A timer? Like "Escape from Durgesh" in Far Cry 4 DLC. That has been distinguished with increasing the timer by completing side quests. Sounds too much like past ideas, just like the rumour of it being based in Korea.
I'm really excited for this, I just hope they tackle a couple of things like the cast bloat in the past few games and the lack of mission cut scenes or even lack of interaction with the main villains. I'm so glad they're switching it up though because after the last 7 games it gets a bit tiring lmao
I just hope FC7 includes a map editor. If only they could capture these ease of building and the fun playing maps made in the FC2 map editor and online multiplayer!
At least they are trying something new. I believe the timer thing can be awesome, only if you're really invested and immersed in the world. I love YOLO type modes like in GR:Wildlands. It truly tests your survival skills. I like being challenged, but hopefully, it doesn't take away the aspect of exploring the world by just doing investigations constantly, or otherwise you failed, and that's the end. But I'm intrigued by how they can pull this timer mechanic off.🙏
Also, stealth takes time... farcry isn’t just a run and gun game... if you wanna be stealthy and get a job done right, you shouldn’t feel rushed! Sad choice for a farcry game if timer is true
No map editor, no buy. The map editor is what got me into this franchise to begin with. I had so much fun building amazing maps and jumping right in with other players to test them out. I was incredibly disappointed when Farcry 6 was confirmed to have no map editor. People say go make maps on Farcry 5. Hate to burst people’s bubbles, but the player base for Farcry 5 is pretty dead.
At this point it's still all rumors and speculation. I too am a Far cry fan, except for 5, which I did not like, ecxept for the companion system. If Far Cry 7 winds up being s souls like game, which some have speculated and rumured about, or a timed game?,... like you have just mentioned, then I have zero interest in the game. A time limited non-linear open world game makes zero sense. As always, I'll make my final decision on purchasing this game, once I know more.
Far cry Nice big map to explore. Find all the hidden treasures mini missions Taken out outposts. … 72 hours to finish the game 😟 Farcry 6 sequel just throw some zombies in with the red mist people turn into zombies. ?????
timed aspect sounds dreary, just need them to keep the farcry assets grounded and realistic stop adding all this weird makeshift war tech. give us weapons and equipment go back to the original formulas cut the rpg shit out ubisoft were kings of realistic themes.
I didn't like the non-linear way of Far Cry 5 and 6. Imo you get more immersed when you do one mission at a time. each of which accelerates the story, with side missions that dont affect the main story at all. It's almost like the regular missions hold no weight in a way where your main goal is just to fill up a meter so you can kill the next mini boss and advance the story. In Far Cry 3 every mission felt unique and furthered the main story. Even the more disliked missions like the one where you had to sneak undergroud to get a uniform so you could blend in with hoyt's folks had tons of character with Hoyt doing a whole pep-talk and burning a person in a cage. They really need to realize that non-linear storytelling is the reason why people say "no one is playing Far Cry games for the story anyways" nowadays.
Far cry really needs a major revamp, I know the premise and the idea about FarCry is being deserted, lost, abandoned, survival etc. but we need a FarCry set in a city. It defeats the purpose but it still would be cool and if they do something like this and execute it properly, it can revive the franchise. It would be amazing to see a modern Farcry game with more politics and revenge and brutal facts like the old days. Sadly devs these days dont have the guts. Thanks to the woke companies like IGN and Sweetbaby.
If the time limit thing is true then the game is gonna be dead before release. Whoever thought putting a time limit in the game would be a good idea needs to be fired
I love far cry games got all of them dont like time limits this sucks the worlds huge wont have enough time to serch every where so no i wont be buying this new title dont need or want a time limit
'Far Cry 4' was peak 'Far Cry'. Stopped playing after 5, probably won't be bothered with 7 unless they make their gameplay and storytelling better. Even a hint of woke shit and I'm out.
Far cry seven sounds like complete ass. Honestly the whole game just sounds gay as fuck. Far cry five was their absolute best game ever, in the far cry franchise. The DLC was pretty fucking horrible though. Especially far cry sixes DLC far cry six wasn’t bad, however, also wasn’t really that good.
