@@azizali7665 But they don’t just deconfirm an ending, the point of the ending is that you have a choice of whether to kill him or not, Joseph’s story is finished regardless of whether you finished him or not
If its anything like farcry 5, you'll be able to repeatedly down him and revive him at will. After i get my revenge over and over, I'll hang out with him. Why not have both? Lol
The very first trailer barely showed who they were. But we're getting more and more bits of their personalities and they seem to be stacking up to great villaindom.
"You can come talk to Papa. Up on the mountain. I bake cookies. Talk about good old days." If we're actually getting what we wanted the whole Far Cry 5 game... I'm not crying, you're crying. We're gonna be blessed. I'm never leaving Joseph's side, just like I never wanted to fight him, but actually wanted to join his cult. Oh damn, I'm emotional about this.
There is a theory that the Rook is the masked person at the New Eden Gate called The Judge. And tbh. THAT'D BE DOPE. Our Rook finally joined the cult 😂
@@Cherrybodt Well he had no choice, I mean he was locked in the bunker with Joseph in one of the endings of Far Cry 5, locked in there for years listening to Josephs words, of course he joined him.
Yeah same, I didn't want to kill anybody of the seed family. JOHN,JACOB, and FAITH! But it's like in every FarCry where you just start loving the villains!
I have to say, the women who voice acted the twins, did a phenomenal job! The emotion, I could feel it! The moods and how much they put into each word... so good!
This game has such fancy art style, definetely gonna buy it just to explore the world. And its always nice to see voice actors being passionate about their roles, usually means that their characters have smtng to them.
Especially when Greg Bryk said when he first heard about Far Cry 5 he didn't want to do it because it's a video game. It seems like he enjoys it though.
I don’t like colourful feel of far cry new dawn, like if look at fallout it’s a lot more gritty for a apocalyptic setting, but I do like how work for the father and face to NPCS as the villain
Same here! All of these haters out there and I am stoked about New Dawn, but I loved Far cry 4 and 5 too. I tell you what, I have not been let down by the Far cry series but thats me. I dont know what everyone is complaining about. Things progress, move forward and change. That is how life works. Sometimes you like it and agree with it and sometimes you dont. I like a variety of games.
Jody Hughes okay if somebody has opinions on game that doesn’t make them a hater, what makes somebody a hater is being fan boy not allowing somebody like what they want, honestly I see both side of argument, a lot off new stuff looks cool but also seems like there making to many changes too game, and what I’ve seen of new dawn I think I’ll still like 5 more, i just like realist feel and that just my opinion
The best Far Cry game for me, i just love this world, love the twins and everything this one's got a fancy and epic atmosphere. WE LOVE YOU UBISOFT AND THANK YOU FOR THIS ❤❤
This was just an amazing job by all involved. Most stories live and die on the strength of the conflict, which is generally determined by the strength of the villain. The Father and the Twins both walked the tightrope between evil and relatability that makes for an amazing villain. The acting required to do so is probably even more important, and more difficult, than the writing because the emotion is so intense that it's exceptionally easy to fall into cartoonish exaggeration. In all three cases, the voice actors avoided that pitfall and gave performances as intelligent yet unhinged people who were downright terrifying. Just a great effort all around.
People already have the theory that they are the masked person at the Gate, they're called the Judge. There are already letters from the person which sound pretty much like the Deputy. I hope they are! That'd be soooo cool!
Rook becomes The Judge so if you shoot Rook in New Dawn technically you have just shot yourself but are still alive because it wasn't you that you shot but it was.
Was super excited when i saw the trailer for this and pre-ordered it. Loved every second of the game! Very beautiful! Loved seeing Joseph again and The Twins made for great Villains too! Can't wait for the next Far Cry game already lol :)
I actually spared Mickey. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Same thing with the father. Say what you want about the game. It’s characters are some of the most fleshed out people in a video game.
Wow, seeing Greg was like seeing the real 'father', loved 5, halfway through New Dawn, a masterpiece, so vibrant. Great video nice to see the twins too, it is nice to see the passion behind the scenes, your franchise is second to none and I very much enjoy and appreciate your hard work! Thank you
RU-vid Account You said “that is not the case”. Then you didn’t mention anything about it being able to be turned off, maybe you should read what you said first.
I love this game please add more side quest like the fight pit i love seeing the bad guys up close without getting a bullet in my head and its really cool to see the bad guys on there free time please add more side missions
I LOVED Far Cry 5 and New Dawn! Top of my list of all time most loved games. Ubisoft game mechanics are predictable, but it's always the stories, locations, and acting I come back for time and time again.
I can't even find the right words to describe how deeply I felt into this game.. Especially for Father.. I could write some long boring story of how I love Far Cry 5 and New Dawn. But what I want to say is this: Wouldn't be the soundtrack of We Will Rise Again better for New Dawn? You know.. singing about colaps, all that lost and more and more.. I think it will fit great into New Dawn
I don't understand all the negativity I've seen in threads overr the two head bad guy black chicks for the game. They seem great to me. Unhinged and psycho, yet reveling in it. Those are the most fun villians to deal with! They make the Father seem sane by comparison, which is pretty impressive. And that's only from a few scenes. I'm down for this game. No, I don't work for Ubi. Just reads like it this post.
Not sure about how well they'll pull this off, but it's an ambitious concept to take on Not a huge fan of the twins and really aggressive motorbiking-scene vibe, thus far as a concept, as it feels a bit too overdone, but maybe in the full version it'll become a clearer, more compelling narrative/concept. The actresses/actors have clearly put in some work, though, and full credit to them.
They should make an after life far cry game where all the previous far cry villains are alive and are working together on a giant map and it’s 4 player coop with the previous main protagonist
I love the complexity of these characters. A lot of games just write the surface "this is the bad guy" part for their villains, but FC usually has flawed/insane/seriously messed-up characters that might have been half-way decent people if they hadn't been traumatized or drug-addled. (I liked how at some point in FC4 you wonder which character is actually the bad guy.) I had been out of gaming for about 15 years when I got an invite for the closed Quake Champions beta. I built a PC for it, the beta kinda stank, then at some point I found Far Cry 5. Ended up playing the hell out of it! Turns out the entire FC series came out while I wasn't gaming, so now I own the whole thing (Primal and Blood Dragon included) and finished them all in reverse order until I got to 2... which I haven't finished because malaria is TEDIOUS. Primal is better than it gets credit for: it's like they combined Far Cry and Assassin's Creed. Anyway, I LOVE how the girls are so into their characters. I really hope that excitement comes through in the story. It looks like everyone did a great job on it.
Far cry is the best game franchise ever. Been plying it since far cry instincts, and watching it since the first far cry, with jack carver. Ubisoft, great job, never stop making this amazing content!
Interesting how the opening scene takes place in the daytime in the trailer, but in the nighttime in the game. (Also looks like the Twins' eyes turned from blue to green/brown.) Stuff like that interests me.
Oh god its so tempting to watch videos of people who have early access. I usually dont mind spoilers much, but this game has me way too hyped. I cant wait to go in head first and experience the twins and this new hope county
I wont lie. I always loved far cry, but i had some kind of burnout after the forth installment. but you guys totally nailed it with 5.... and im kinda sad that i did not buy this one earlier :D You`ve created with the Father, one of the best villians (or Anti Hero...), a video game ever had.
Cool. I’ve almost completed the story of New Dawn and I love it. Such an interesting and cool story in an interesting and cool setting. I personally think that the coolest part of it is that it’s pretty much an epilogue to Far Cry 5. Just nice to see the connections between the two games. It’s cool to see Joseph Seed and other returning characters again such as Hurk, Sharky, the Ryes, Grace, (probably one of my favourites being Pastor Jerome, I’m not religious but I find the concept of him being a veteran and pastor at the same time is quite unique). “Spoiler Territory” And let’s not forget about the Judge and how they are apparently us aka the Rookie/ Deputy Sheriff From Far Cry 5... that’s pretty cool. So far I’ve enjoyed the psychotic duo of the Twins, Mickey & Lou as the antagonists too.
I feel bad for choosing to kill the father but I just wanted his pain and suffering to leave. Now I feel even worse cause his voice actor is so mellow and down to earth
The father was my favorite character in farcry 5 & new dawn I really mean that,i remember when I watched Greg do the unboxing video for farcry 5 it made me laugh
