Far Cry: New Dawn Review

I disagree with your rating of the villains. It's been over a decade, but I thought the factions in part 2 of game 2 were quite good.

They didn't have the character speak in either game because of the "sexual choice" you make at the beginning of the games. You're either a boy or a girl. They didn't want to pay to record dialogue for two different sexes. It's why the characters have generic named like "Rookie", "Deputy", and "The Judge". They're all non gender based terms that can apply to anyone. It's also the reason why The Judge is not identifiable as either a man or a woman in New Dawn and wears a mask that covers their face. Oddly enough The Judge doesn't talk in New Dawn either because the game doesn't know what sex you made the character in the last game.
