Basically the Kid becomes a Beast Master & the beast master ability carries on from generation to generation. This explains why the Hunters in FC4 can tame animals & command them to attack you. The hunters from FC4 are the Beast Master descendants
I like the fact of Ull and Batari being totally different from each other. Ull, although ruthless, was a real leader, aware that his people were dying and in search of a solution - even extreme - for their survival. Batari looked like an hysterical fanatic, obsessed by the cult of her people. I felt no mercy throwing her to fire, while I was rather moved by Udams Leader's death. I also found Izilas much more vicious than Udam.
oh I totally believe that- also that Takkar is not shown but right there watching, the kid is a bit different from when they got to the village- clean, new clothes, I THINK I saw Wenja paint on them not sure they've been fully adopted into the tribe and likely are being taught Beast Master skills BY Takkar after having been caught showing interest in one of the tamed beasts before XD likely that same bear even

I took more time upgrading my shit than completing the story, hell i didn't even know i finished the game when all this happened. I'm so disappointed...
Takkar was human enough to spare Dah from more suffering even treating him as not much as a simple enemy but more as an fallen warrior as he say his farewell and bless his death as his spirit was a set to walk freely
Izla are meant to be harder, they are the smart and technologically advanced tribe, where as the udam are essential a "previous generation" they are less evolved neanderthals and are dumber for it. also they MAY or may not have accidentally gotten ill because of cannibalism
well its like most far cry games. In 3 you had the drunk dumb pirates with shitty weapons then those more army like trained soldiers with better weapons and tactics. And with 4 you had the southern soldiers who were just a simple enemy in the way. Where as the northern soldiers were again. Armed with better weapons, armor, and skill
No one cares yeah, god i love far cry haha, my favorite series, far cry 4 was a MASTERPIECE haha, well to me anyways. and i really enjoyed primal, its really refreshing while still feeling like far cry
Viking age is just overdone to fucking death and it gets way too reductive when it comes to Christianity, yet the Vikings were absolutely evil by most standards, lol. I REALLY enjoyed primal, though.
If we were ever to get a Primal spiritual successor I'd choose between either of those two settings. 1.- An early Copper Age setting were your hunter gatherer tribe fights off the arrival of Indoeuropean people, set in Central Europe and maybe getting dragged to the Middle East. 2.- Late Pleistocene again, but this time in South America with weird shit like ground sloths, glyptodons and maybe some anachronistic terror birds.
But even more satisfying was the "storm the temple" stuff before. When that music by Fever Ray starts playing and you just run after those Izila assholes after you put on that mask making them think you're their stupid sun goddess coming to punish them. And you then just butcher every one of them trying to run away or hide... now THAT was satisfying.
For some reason Ull’s death made me cry my eyes out he really was just trying to help his people survive. And he was like, “protect... protect.” Omg I cried and the kid was like, “dad? Dad?” Omg I CANT😭😭😭.
So I did some research and I know that the Udam are Neanderthals (Even though they should be extinct by the time the game takes place) the Wenja are Cro Magnon (Early European Humans) and the Izila are Modern Man (there us) but Cro Magnon and Modern Man are very very similar so by the games date the Izila should be the dominate race Udam are long dead and Wenja are in the DNA of the Izila
So it's like the Inca where they were once United by the parents and then when they died they separated, became their own tribes and fought each other just like the Incans
When I remember correctly the Izila have a primitive form of agriculture. If I am right then they probably resemble the first wave of farmers that migrated to Europe. But that happened round about 9000 to 7000 years before present and ca. 3000 to 5000 years after the time period the game is set in (which is 12000 years ago). And the Neandertals were already extinct since ca. 18000 years at the date of the story line. :D
That Kid just brought back the Theory of "Consequence". The kid who lost every close one of her tribe, do you think she is gonna leave Takkar and his Wenja?!! Her Beast Master ability and Evil Smile at the end says it all. Just Like Pegan Min said - "All Choices Have Consequences".
yeah you are right, we only got to see Ull twice in the entire game and killed him so easily. Whereas in other games, the final boss escapes many times and hunts you many times as well.
i wished they could have done like udam and izila joining force at the end as a final mission and wenja fighting them all with takkar fighting ull and batari

Gregorian Nex I feel sympathy for both but that doesn’t excuse them invading and eating wenja people. They still needed to be defeated. But I still have much more respect for both of them compared to the cowardice Izila commander and Batari. At least ULL and Dah weren’t afraid to die and fought to the bitter end like warriors
i wish this game had a longer storyline. a LOT longer. this game cost me like 70 damn dollars and i beat that shit in two days; all endings. i wasted my money tbh. i liked the game, and i thought it was fun, but after doing everything in the game that quickly i was a little disappointed
You're probably a next level no lifer and played this 48 hours straight. Or you rushed the missions without doing anything else. In any case, this game was shit. 1 hour in i was hoping all your tribe's retards get killed it. No character development no nothing. Shitty ass game.
I loved all the characters in this game, I liked that there aren’t really ‘bad guys’ you are just one tribe surviving how they can, just as brutal as the others but it makes sense, in other games I always felt a disconnect between going around with a noble goal while also killing 1000 people whereas in this one I felt like it was self evident why what you are doing is right by virtue of your tribe, I would love a more fleshed out sequel perhaps set over a longer period of time with advancing technologies (with a little stretching of reality like in this one for weapons of course) but where the society you live in spreads out over the areas you conquer with connections between it until you become a proto-society kind of like this meets civilisation games (with less advancing spans of time)
I still believe that Batari's story was more epic. Ull surely was a tough guy to defeat, and he has some background with all that Udam illness stuff. Which is interesting, as a variation of the Neanderthals fall. However, Isila were the first to step at the edge of a new era of agriculture, which further changed people's life radically. The begining of slavery, new forms of religion, new social structure. Batari is very ambitious and devoted, even fanatic (damn she sacrificed her own son for the sake of her ideas). I loved to watch the collision of these two worlds. While Udam's desire was more about self-affirmation and surviving, Batari and her tribe demonstrate the other side of human progress and a crucial moment for humankind. Not to mention she's stylish AF and the voice actress did a damn good job. Kudos
I wonder if there will be a sequel to Far Cry Primal, given the post credit scene. If there will be a sequel, my guess would be that it'll take a couple of years after, when the Udam child is a teenager. I can already imagine, he wants revenge because Takkar killed his father, Ull.
I'm pretty sad that Dah died he was my favourite character, and yes i had to beat him, but later on he acted so friendly and like a good brother i started to like him but no Ubisoft kicked me in the balls and made me very sad, seeing the best character in my opinion in far cry primal die.
I would love a farcry game, set in early bronze age germany. Your character's name is donar. Game starts out normal, until a rival clan attacks your tribe, and you have to rebuild, then during the final boss fight, the opposing tribe's god arrived to fight you with his army. Turns out he's a jotnar, and he's after your mother, because she's secretly one of them, before the fight your mother gives you an apparently op as hell belt that doubles your strength. Once you get to the cutscene of the fight, Donar is losing, when a hammer and a pair of gloves appear after a bolt of lightning strikes the ground next to you, stunning the jotunn. Donar, looking up can see a shadow of a man riding an 8 legged horse with 1 glowing eye. Donar grabs the belt, quickly ties it around his waist, also putting on the gloves all in a rush, just seconds before getting up. Grabbing the hammer, only one prompt appears on screen "throw". As soon as you press the associated button. Screen cuts to backdrop shot, facing the two characters but they're obscured by a treeline or something. Then in an isntant the whole screen lights up for a split second, revealing the shadow of obviously donar,the jotunn and the hammer. The light is originated from the hammer...or was it the jotunn? Nope, right after the flash, comes a thundering boom...literal thunder. Next it cuts to Donar walking away from the battle site, all injured and shit from fighting the massive jotnar army with conventional weapons, cuz they're supernatural entities... Yet he somehow killed them. As he's walking away, bodies of these jotnar are lining the road...some are torn clean in half... Was that him? couldnt be. He wasn't even half this strong before, the belt only doubles his strength. It seems in his rage, he didn't even notice the bodies being eviscerated by him, but still, how is this possible. Right in the middle of thst thought, donar stops. Its the one eyed man, riding the 8 legged horse and he says only one thing "hello...son", end credits scene plays. Its a monologue by Donar "to people at sea, a storm means certain death. They fear being caught in one. To those who would invade my home, I *am* the storm and they will learn to fear me" then it shows a shot of a flash of lightning in a thundercloud. The silhouette of Donar, a raiding party of jotnar and his hammer smashing a jotunn in the face mid flight, with lightnig coming out of the hammer from striking the jotunn. It stays like a normal non-supernatural, non-mythological game until the last act, and if you as the player havent seen any spoilers, you didn't even know that you are literally thor, until the last fight when the hammer appears and you can sorta piece it together, or until the ending when the games literally makes it obvious. I think it would make for a fucking phenomonal game that would make the thor thats in norse mythology (not marvel) come to life. Actively educating players on thor, and even the fact that he's called the protector of midgard, and as to why he protects midgard, and also who he protects midgard from, and why he is known as the "bane of the jotnar"/"slayer of jotnar", because they keep trying to invade his home. It would even educate players on the fact that thor's mom is not only a jotun, but her name is jord (pronounced yord), and that she is the defacto goddess of earth. Sadly ubisoft already gave us a norse mythology based game, but its in the style of assassins creed, so its not totally accurate. So I very very highly doubt they would ever entertain the idea of this game. A man can only dream though

The only thing missing from this game was the "good or bad choice" I love the fact I could be turned either way at the endlike in FC3-FC4. But sadly can only be rainbows n sunshine for Takkar.
Putting Dah out of his misery is just the ending of Dah’s quests, not a different ending, killing Batari is just the end of Tensay’s quests, not a different ending, there’s only one ending and u get it after completing the main quest line (at the end of which u kill Ull), having completed the rest of the villagers quests, and completing all of Urkis quests, there is only one ending, this is clickbait
Wish they added a new dlc to the game for new missions, land to conquer, and bosses and animals to tame. It would probably be to much for them though as they are busy all the time. #ubisoft #farcry
I have both endings but need to finish the 2 missions with the capture the wavefront of both Udam and Izila :D I think the only way to do that is with mammoth :)
