Finally, that is what I'm talking about. Stone Giant did what I thought he would the first time I witnessed this walking mountain. I really enjoyed this battle. I hope the Stone Giant can easily smack Trolls around as well.
Trolls and other monstrous infantry are actually a hard counter to the stone giant. This was seen in the first video, where it was featured, and it died extremely quickly when it got mobbed by olog-hai and pelted by orc javelins.
As u did mention this battle was purley to show case how effective the stone giant can be if used correctly and not targeted by monster units or anything with very high AP overall enjoyed being in the battle and watching it.
If the stone giant defends a single choke with a couple supporting units there is absolutely no way u will get thought the choke have tried and seen it happen 😂
Eh, not really sure the game needs another unit which is basically 0 strategy, only way to counter is just throw Bodyguard/Troll units at it. That's literally a weakness of both Rhun and Cardolan.
This battle was just played to show off the stone giant in its full glory, both rhun and cardolan have counters, gatekeepers, dragonswrath crossbows and sapphire bladesmen kill it after a couple volleys
@@f1boii826 Oh fair enough, were the Rhun Cardolan players just hella dumb given that they had a ton of Xbows but didn't focus enough fire on the stone giant?
@@KingAwesome8218 no like this guy just said this battle was deliberately set up in order to showcase the potential usage of stone giant if you can implement him without getting focused down, it was most likely semi deliberately that both rhun and cardolan didn't just focus him off the bat
Basically every ingame unit has a counter, javies, crossbows and cav or monsterous units can usually counter anything if they can get a good angle of fire or cav/monsters with a good charge attack
