The AEE Condor PRO easily lifts 3kg and is fitted with the Newton 3 drone release clip. This allows bait deployment by pushing a button or applying tension to the line while the drone moves forward.
As with any tangles or mishaps, the Newton 3 Release Clip is the safest drone release clip. At the same time, the gear being set will result in the baited line being released rather than tension jolting the drone, which can result in prop wrap (stalling the drone, resulting in a crash) or simply catapulting the drone into the water. Even waterproof drones don't like crashing into salt water.
