This tolerance narrative is pushed much later under British and gandhi movement, it was the Kshatriya spirit that saved this civilisation for an thousand year continuous invasion . We lost land but still survived as a continuous living civilisation while many didn’t in past 2000 yrs, don’t under estimate our ancestors, give them credit and imbibe and revive that Kshatriya culture .

There are many instances of US supporting Pakistan for their own personal gains including in 1971 and a large part of last 30 years of continued terrorism on Indian soil.

you are absolutely right. Zakaria reads some stupid articles written by vested congi agents and comes out saying that Indian Muslims are treated as second-class citizens in India. What nonsense. Over dozen, schemes were implemented by the Modi govt for the betterment of the poor without discriminating against any cast or creed. The fact of the matter is, in all these schemes, the minority community takes the fullest benefits and they still badmouth Moi an Hindus in this country which is unfortunate. This shows the kind of Muslim mindset which treats all other religious followers as Kaffirs. In Hindu-majority countries like India, this cannot be accepted at all. They want some "masala" bite from somewhere, just that one ounce of spark against Modi from somewhere and then blowing it out of proportion is a skill that media groups and certain journalists in India have mastered. The grey curly haired journalist - everyone knows who I am talking about - has since forever pledged his allegiance to Congress since time immemorial. Unfortunately, the bite that they were looking from Zakaria, never came. I'm sure the India Today group would hv cried tears the moment they heard about Modi's popularity getting affirmed or his chances for 2024. And I'm sure if, God Forbid, Congress comes into power in 2029 or 2034 - they would consider that sole victory bigger than 3 or 4 consecutive election wins of Modi.

When Muslims have pride and love for their faith, it is great for other Muslims. When Hindus have pride, it is not good for Muslims. Fareed talks about "Modi should do things for the average person". He has done a 100 times more for the poor people in 10 years than the Congress which governed for more than 50 years. Indira Gandhi shouted 'garibi hatao' only to get votes, but not a single scheme covered even half as much as one of Modi's schemes has done.

Modi has inspired the Indians everywhere to take pride in Bharat and its great Heritage, which was white washed by British and Nehru inspired Historians. Plus his foreign affairs policy is great. US and Russia both think of India as a close ally. If someone smarter than Modi comes, it will be good for all. He had raised the bar. Of course, there are some negatives, too. But overall it's a plus.

Spectacular rise of female participation in Saudi workforce include domestic workers, restaurant and shopping centre sales people, etc. from Philippines and South Asia. In India, domestic workforce is not counted. They are part of a very large invisible workforce. That need to be taken into account when comparing stats.

it seems to me, that statistic about women not participating in workforce is all bogus. i see women working everywhere. even as Swiggy drivers. i find it hard to believe that women are locked up in their homes. afaik, every woman is working, from the lowest blue collar job to highest corporate job. and many women also have home based businesses (like lets say making and selling snacks, masala powders etc)

He did not tap into Hindu pride, he resisted Hindu humiliation, but, that too not for Hindus, because Hindu humiliation is broadly humiliating India too. It has a history, colonial rulers conquered India also by humiliating Hindus, they seperated all that was good in India and claimed that to the non-hindu diversity, and projected everything that is unacceptable legacy blamed it on Hindus, and there by targetted Indian history for divide & humiliate. Now we see a resistance. That resistance is better accepted in north of India than in the south, because south could be much successfully indoctrinated by colonial logic, which was presented as if it were a progressive alternative .

India was playing the NAM fiddle for 70 years. We did not go anywhere. We lost part of Kashmir to China. Pacifist are weak. That’s why America does not play pacifist politics. Hindus are eight class citizens in India. In a Hindu majority land, bunch of muslim goons physically assaulted an interfaith couple. Hindu saints in Bhopal got Lynched. So if threat of Islam is so great that it actively involve in violence in a non Hindu majority, then it's only right to retaliate against that ideology which is bound to destroy every form of civility. Hindus don't even have the control of their own temples unlike muslims. Muslims can take any land as they please using the Waqf board. Hindus are eight class citizens in India.
