EDIT: The car has already been sold. I greatly appreciate those of you who have reached out expressing interest!
I took a final video walk around to document the car my father restored from the ground up prior to selling it as part of his estate. I remember him spending many late nights out in his workshop with this car. It achieved the "Seniors" ranking at the national Corvair convention around 12 years ago and won trophies at every show or cruise-in he would take it to. A really beautiful example of a late model Corvair. #chevrolet #chevy #corvair
Thanks for watching!

Growing up, our family had a 64 Monza convertible (110 / 4sp), later on I had a 66 Corsa convertible (140 / 4sp). My Mom worked at a tire store and was given a free set of Michelin radials, it was funny seeing mechanics shake their heads when my five foot and a bit mom tried to tell them the tires weren't flat. ;-D

All I comment on is your father had very good taste for what he saw in this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible ! & you can see his vision in the work he did & upon the completion ! The item You pulled out of the box is called a multi-plex that hooks up to the radio . IMHO I think You made the right choice in picking the 1963 FC 95 Rampside seeing how you only got to choose one ! But You'll be able to complete his vision in that truck as well putting some of your own into it ! I'm sorry for your loss , & thank You for sharing a video of your fathers work , & brief history ! I hope to see future videos of the 63 Rampside.

Thanks for watching. I plan to make project walk-around videos very soon, with the Rampy walk-around video being the "finale" in the series kick off. Stay tuned!

My dad and I worked on a 1964 Monza Convertible with the 110 engine. We loved that car. Thanks for posting this amazing video with an amazing Corvair. They need to be driven. If not, the O rings will dry up and the engine starts to leak, etc.

That is one sweet ride! So sorry for your lose. That rampside is nice too. I have a "66" Monza convertible 140 and yes they do take a bit to warm up.

Your father did a great job, she looks great. I'm guessing the original engine was a 110 hp, versus the 140 hp now shown, because the model with the 140 hp was a "Corsa" (also the 180 hp turbo model). ;-)

Late model Monza trim cars also came with the 140 as an option. 😁

If it has not been sold yet, I would like to make an offer as I had owned a 1965 hardtop when I was in service during Vietnam war. I had to sell it also because of the need for a more family friendly vehicle.

Son , there are no old fogeys, just most experienced. Why are you getting rid of the monza money, well you an always get money but it will only get harder to obtain another Corvair like the one you have❗️🇺🇸

Not about money. About a good home for the car. Truck is the keeper. The Monza is the nicest out there, but it's just a Monza after all. 😉
