thats crazy about the spring not being "registered" or whatever. I was thinking of coming to try to find land in costa again but now im remembering all the red tape, caja, and other issues thanks to your video. Hope u found a nice spot!

Thats because the mayority of ticos dont want to deal with foreigners so you will only deal with scammers, youre not a local so no one wants to talk to u

You never really said what happened why you had to leave so we can learn from your mistakes! The property is beautiful and you gave some great tips but you need to be more specific so someone else doesn’t get caught up in the same scheme(?).

Thanks for watching and commenting. I chose not to share private financial info. But essentially, Make sure the real estate agent is respected and get references. Most Important, verify the offers/contracts with a lawyer.

Our corrupt/inefficient government allows for "expats" and traitor ticos to act as real state agents without a license, so it's pretty much the wild west here in terms of getting scammed, overpriced, etc. GENTRIFICATION, crime and social inequality in a nutshell, a paradise indeed.
