cried watching this and im American.. sad to say goodbye to them. true legends. no one can surpass that CONNECTION AND LOVE they have for each other, romantic or not. just by the way they look at each other you can tell how much they care for one another. unless any other ice dance group can compete with 21 years of experience of blood, sweat, and tears behind them, i dont think anyone will be able to beat them, at least not in my heart. TESSA AND SCOTT ARE TRUE SOULMATES AND I WILL LOVE THEM ENDLESSLY.
No one is going to tell these two what love is because they can explain to all of us, this is why we love them so much. It doesn't matter what country we live in, we just love them and never get tired of watching them!!!!
I feel the pain and hurt upon knowing they will never be a couple in real life but in ice skating only. My only consolation is that they left a legacy worth remembering. Nobody can beat them as a team. Two fantastic and romantic pair who executed explicit, unique and delicate steps to the rythmn of the music. Until now I always feel the thrill and excitement as I am watching their videos. They are the best dancers the ice skating world have developed. I hope someday they will return in ice skating for the sake of their fans. They will do an exhibition. Fr. the Philippines.
They have a chemistry that very few couples have. They both have an unswerving confidence in each other and their abilities. I live close by where they do and I can only hope they continue as a skating couple for many years to come. The magic they bring to ice dance is incredible!
Their relationship reminds me of Torvill and Dean. They always looked liked they truly loved each other. Which they did in a way, but yet never married. Their chemistry on ice was very touching.
These two is so perfect and they really have that spark that never falters. I always asked, "Why didnt they end up together?" as husband and wife perhaps.
Roar of the crowd thundered through to the soul. Canadian flag warming and protecting hugging nervous shoulders! Winning medals so easy for Penny, Tessa, Scott and others. Losing count they continued to best their own records surprising themselves.... It only gets Great Awesome Fun! So natural!
Miss them already! I know Scott is getting married this July to another lady but he still look so in love with Tessa and Tessa looks so in love with him! Wish both of them the very best!

Since they were 10 and 8. They have been partners on their craft how come that today they have other partners in real life. How I wish both Tessa and Scott were the ones who got married. Soooo sad.

I really believe they love each other but this is not romantic love that their fans want them to be in. It is something much more than that. I think they share love to skating, performaning and working together.
We cannot put their relationship on a specific definition as they said that themselves. they definitely care too much for each other and are each other's best friends. Therefore, simply naming them as lovers or friends does not fit into this 22-year partnership, friendship, relationship. they're in something much bigger and i am grateful for that
They were three times won the greatest gold Olympic medals until eventually they were retired from that such an enormous competition which is only skilful person can do it. It's humongous, can't be word expressed.

And you can see that , it seems that, they have an excellent relationship with each other, with great complicity and affection. They said at the Ellen interview they dated for awhile but then decided they should just stay as skating partners. To me they are more than just partners, they are soulmates who tell stories very well.
Even when choosing the last song to dance to, Scott and Tessa made the right choice. In fact, what better choice could there be to illustrate a career shared by Scott and Tessa for more than 20 years than opting for the song titled "Long Time Running"? Impossible to choose better.
Scott seems to be an excellent person, who shows that he has immense attraction and affection for Tessa, added to immense respect for her, which means the existence of such a great love for Tessa that it is difficult to find, I would even say it is a stroke of luck that a woman can find a life partner with these characteristics. But, as I heard , Tessa did not want to commit to Scott immediately, and following Scott married someone else, and Tessa also later married another man. Let's hope that Scott can also live with someone who makes him happy, as he deserves, as Tessa's “No” must have caused him great sadness, and Scott must have felt unexpectedly abandoned by Tessa. Too much money never favorably replaces a great love.
So ok theyre not romantically linked. So what? I don't understand why they can't continue ice dancing, even not for competition. Why STOP? Torvill & Dean did it. And they were no way romantic in real life! What matters is that 4 minute program where the magic of their chemistry is shown ; where people are transported to a fantasy; to the dream that is Scott & Tessa!
It seems to me the reason they retired is because Scott wanted to pursue another woman who he is engaged to now. Its possible she said only if you stop skating with her.
@@marie-clairegirouard6863 Actually, you can't even say that they are exactly partners, they never participated in competitions together and when Scott was very young, they skated together for a few months.
