I think you should think to move your farm on the higher lands. Your place right now is not reliably safe of water since you’re already the river bank. Consider buying a property that’s safe from being flooded

It's hard to live near in the stream you didn't know when the flood comes but i think there's news about strong rain ☔ so the people living in the lower area can evacuate to the higher place

The big hole under ur house u better filled up stones n rocks to strengthen the foundation. Flooding are now quite often like our country, especially low lying areas n those near rivers n streams. Keep safe

My suggestion to you last year before you build your house you have to elevate the flooring also your livestock coop because your place is in the edge if the river bank when big weather system comes you'll be flooded due to the terrain of the water, during summer the river is very small space of running water but the terrain still there so anticipate flooding elevate those structures you build for the future of your stay it's very dangerous to predict the weather forecast ...

I am so sorry this is happening to you. Unfortunately this could have been somewhat lessened if the opposite river bank hadn't been filled in. Low spread out banks are tempting to make over, build homes on etc. The problem is that in years like this you get heavy rains and massive flooding and when the banks are changed the water has no where else to go and will flood places like your with catastrophic results. I lived in a huge flood zone most if my childhood and saw this happen over and over. About all you can donis raise the level of your farm land, relocate, or deal with it each time an event happens. Saying a prayer for you and the recovery of your farm.

See if there is a way to figure out how to build defence walls that can keep all that water away from your property and some sort of drainage system that will keep pumping that water back to tghe river and away from your property and also keep all of your crops safe from too much water and also protect your animals. It was so sad to see so much water everywhere ruining things, it was also so wonderful seeing your sweet boyfriend, and looking at that edge of your eating area that you and him put that cement and rocks all along there then that darn water knocked a good chunk down and I am sure you will both repair it.
