I can’t stand sticky, gooey cornstarch in my fruit pie filling!
How to make fruit pies without sticky, gooey cornstarch: puree a portion of the fruit and cook it on top of the stove until it thickens - then roughly chop the remaining fruits and add them to the reduced puree.
