Is all this old gear from the 60s bought and used by anyone as working farm machinery or is it scrap as it seems more trouble than it’s worth. Not a farmer so no idea.

George Sanders would've been in hog heaven around those Ford tractors! Great video of all that old iron - brought back some young lad day(s) memories - especially the old combines and balers. Kinda surprised there weren't some older hay rakes to be seen. Anyhoo...stay safe - be well - many blessings.

1966 Ransomes 801 combine looked ok plus what looked like a Massey 780 bagger. Plus Allis All crop 60. I would like that 801. Does anyone know if combines sold and what price they made.

@@NicksFarm Wow they are going up in price gradually. It wasn't that long ago they were only getting scrap prices. Old combines have become hard to find in recent years.

Nice one Nick. Good to see a bit more normality returning. Haven't been to a Farm Sale for a while, and the numbers of them are declining due to eBay. Used to be a great "social" day out; a good chance for a catch up. One of our controversial, and very rich, local farmers used have a great game "running up" bidders who didn't know him on the most bizarre lots. He didn't care if he won or not. Happy days.

Great video Nick, sure brought back some old memories, one of my first tractors was a 5000 that only had one brake and had to either be bump or tow started.....good old days.

Someone might correct me if I’m wrong but I’m sure the battery sits lower down near the cab step so don’t think it would be from that 👍

that ransomes combine would have been a good buy and leave itin a dry shed for 20 more years .......we had a trailer one from new and we sold it sadly ........was perfect when it was sold , new owner trashed it within 2 years .......
