I live IN GATINEAU QUEBEC beside OTTAWA. You SHOULD CAME TO MY farm AND FIXED my 5130 MAXXUM it wont go in FORWARD or REVERSE. Did YOU GET THE PROBLEM FIXED fixed WITH YOURS. I THINK you HAVE a 5140
We where close then. Lol. We have a. 5130,5230,&5140. Check your relays on the right side first. Could be loose connection or ones broken. Have had both happen before. Yes, we did get our 5140 fix.
@@802Farmers I HAVE CHECKED THE RELAYS are OK 👌. THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE AND it WAS the RELAYS. The dealer CAME and CHECKED they SAY its IN TRANSMISSION they want$ 12 .000 just to split it not fix it just to split and put back together.
Wow. Your dealing is bending you over for that price. We actually have the same problem on our 5230 right now. No forwards or reverse. But it’s not inside. Are you sure it’s not electrical. There’s is a lot of different things to test first. I can make ours drive if I jump it but I gotta narrow down the main problem now.
@@802Farmers the light on dash for reverse goes on he put a pressure test on clutch it works he said it has to be in transmission . I checked silinoids but ok . Came for 3 hours charged me$ 1300. Lucky I have other tractors . But not worth putting$ 20.000 in it . Great tractor runs great . I enjoy your videos thanks for making them .
That sucks. I am working on ours right now when I have time between stuff. I wasn’t gonna record it but I can. Maybe it will Help you by chance. Could be the same problem. I’m just diving into it. It’s crazy what they charge. There’s no need to spend that much money into those tractors. They are great tractors for the most part. Being able to do it ourselves saves us a lot.
