Naka relate ako sa inyo Ate Mila ang buhay ng late husband ko na isang farmer din sa Missouri, USA. Sa 400 plus acres cattle farm namin kailangan talagang masipag ka, enjoy your work, loving it and have a lot of patience. It’s a lot of work and we have to deal with 4 seasons. It gets very, very hot and very cold. Making hay during summertime for their food during wintertime. In most cases it’s a lot of fun because you learn how to appreciate your hardwork. I love the preserved fresh fruits especially making jellies out from apples, cherries, pears, peaches, apricots, plums, elderberry’s, rhubarbs and so on. Filipinos are very hardworking wherever we may be in the world. Butchering and cleaning the cow meat for our yearly supply was great cuz we know what kind of meat we’re eating.
