I think it's the Tory party conference couldn't the NFU ask the defeated Tory MPs to help with harvesting potatoes as many of them thought it a brilliant idea for the british unemployed to harvest important British crops instead of European help.
Hi Andrew, fascinating insight into the Cereals site. Have you considered using GTL instead of gas oil? It’s a bit dearer but can use it all year without worrying about additives. I’ve not had a single issue with bunging up fuel filters since switching to GTL.
Too right Wardy, on a woodland heath near me there's a pond that has a good population of newts, signs everywhere explaining how flea treatments kill the insects that provide their food. Keep up the good work. People need educating about where food actually comes from.
I concur, Pirelli's in the skip. Grabber AT3's recently fitted. You know why there are so many crashes on the A17, they are all rubber necking trying to get a glimpse of that celebrity RU-vidr instead of watching where they are going.
Cracking update again Andrew. We’ve had a horrible week here weather wise real heavy rain, the accident didn’t look good did it outside you entrance and again your wall was knocked down. Not a football fan myself it’s a wrong shaped ball 😂😂
Another week, another accident. Glad everyone is ok. Cars and walls can be replaced (the latter often!) but people are more precious. Also goes to show what heroes our Air Ambulance teams are. No NHS of government funding, entirely supported by donations to the charity!
Thanks Andrew for another great update. Good to see the work on the cereals event fields. It's hard to imagine how it will look next year. Really interesting to hear your comments about Neonicotinoids, I understand your frustration and I hope the Government make a rational decision and not a knee jerk reaction. My question is, as a country that needs a certain amount of food stuff to feed our population, if we can't grow it, we end up importing it. Do the countries we import from have the same restrictions? I hope everyone is OK that was involved in the accident. The Fastrac looked great on its low profile tyres, Wardy the boy racer. Looking forward to the next video.
Thank you for a very interesting video I've been in farming all my life and still picking up good info from you, good luck getting bean off and wheat in
Another fantastic update Andrew really interesting about the insecticides you just don't realise how much damage the dogs and cats can do. Looking forward to the next update
The difference between you and Country file is they would have said nothing about cats and dogs flea treatments causing pollution they just hammer proper farmers and fawn over someone with half a dozen pet sheep, very informative and entertaining insights, please keep them coming
Really good information on what goes on the farm , l am 71 been on the farm all my life and understand the situation farmers are in , its about time government started to listen to farmers who know what is needed and the public started to listen to farmers . Yourself , James Peck , and even Jeremy Clarkson who are all reading from the same page trying very hard to keep British Farming moving forward. P.s Andrew do you have any connection with a retired farmer in Shropshire by the name of Phil Ward l know he had a relation in Lincolnshire.
we had a lot of rain down in the SE as well over the last couple of weeks. its been awful. i dont know if you remember about a month or so ago i asked you about a cover crop for my allotment, i planted one, it was doing well, but havent been up there since the rain. hoping it will be okay. though my allotment has a tendancy to flood. Hope you are well
Hello Andrew Do you farm Sutton Bridge farm by any chance ? Michelin tyres for your Land Rover better all round my friend 🤔 All the best Mick O Donohue
Hi Andrew very interesting update as usual. Very interesting about the Neonicotinolds on pet flea treatments. Andrew what did you hit your head on it wasn't the wife with a frying pan !!! 😂😂
Thanks for update on cereals site didn’t appreciate the amount of effort need before the event to establish everything. 18mm rain with me last week. M18 / M180 junction area
Case in point for advates of ploughing to bury weed seeds and residue ! job only half done even on kind land. Re glysophate one Lincs council is coming under misinformed misinformed public pressure to ban using it.
