Farmer Boy! Chapter 1. "School Days" 

Thank you so much for Audio Farmer Boy!!! My oldest son passed from this life 3 years ago and this was his most favorite of the Little House books. Great memories of this momma reading this series to my 4 young children. Nothing better than this. You are a blessing to me!!!!

I love Farmer Boy! I actually live about 10 minutes from the Wilder farm (it is a museum you can visit) where this book takes place and 15 minutes from Malone, NY where they go to the fair. You can still go to the Franklin County Fair held at the same place.

Such sad first chapters, knowing that those teenage boys beat a teacher to death and felt no remorse for the life they took and the awful pain of grief they inflicted on the man's friends and family. The parents of those boys didn't care either. And all the other kids in the school living in fear of having to watch this new teacher that they liked be beaten to death in front of them!

Haven’t read this in so long and have never listened to it but now I am wearing my first pair ever of cowboy boots while playing red dead redemption in my backyard shed. Your voice is very nice and soothing
