A family living in a ranch gets in trouble when they discover a pit that predicts the future and they use it to cover up a murder related to the neighbor's son. Subscribe to our second channel: tinyurl.com/Movie-Recaps
@druidofscosglen2868 hey, mountains have unique problems that the privileged cant understand, so its fair to let them do as they please, in fact here comes one from nowhere to crush me
Time travel stories run the risk of disappearing up their own butt. Looks like this story tried to avoid that, but wound up going the other way, teasing at how a certain future would happen, but in no way clarifying either how it comes to be, nor how it gets prevented.
It's a series. I felt the exact same way about 1/4 of the way thru this recap. I was thinking, am I really too stupid to keep up with the 1st 30m of a 2hr movie narrative? Then I read a couple comments and realized this was a whole season recap. So, that first 6m or so I watched was actually ~4hrs condensed, not 30m like I initially thought. Which was a major relief to me, that I'm not a f*cking moron lol.
because stupid is as stupid does.... but it is all the stupid people running around doing stupid things that makes the show .... absolutely standard stuff straight out of the F-ing lazy writers playbook
I'm wondering why he knew about the hole since he was 9 years old, but didn't remember it at first? Seems like the writers are making this up as they go along. Just like most terrible T.V. shows.
Ahhhh i see what happened now... Rebecca went into the pitt, then her husband went into the pitt, then they came back and got their daughter Amy, took her with them into the pitt. And then after years, amy came back from the pitt as a grown woman and calling herself autumn, bcuz shes tryna change things from happening in the past, which is why she keeps trying to kill her grandfather... and thats why she was smiling when her father jumped into the pitt and it dissapeared... now the big reveal is, that autumn is working with the government, which is why she's grown but happens to have a whole trust fund with money in it during the present time! Which is also why when Royal(her grandfather) couldnt call any of those numbers for the company. Theyre top secret and hiding out for right now... They Prolly sent autumn there to do some recon! And maybe going back and forth thru time in that black liquid messes with ur mind, which is why she needs to take the bipolar medicine...
It took about 15 minutes of scrolling through the comments to learn that its *not* a movie, but a SERIES called "Outer Range", and its on amazon prime video...
Contaminated evidence that wouldn't hold up in court. It was not properly retrieve, it was on a drawer. The so called evidence was given by the brothers. That, might I add are the sons of a guy who is trying to take the accused land. That buckle could've stained with that blood at any given time. So might as well be implanted evidence. A lawyer would've made it inadmissible. And with the time of death no matching the time of the allege altercation. It would've been very hard to prove. At most could be accuse of battery. for the fight outside of a bar..
Love how the bison, a usually aggressive and territorial herbivore, is standing 5 feet away from the screaming farmer, unfazed and just happy to be there.
@@Albtraum_TDDC my favorite top 3 shows might be Star Trek: The Next Generation, Quantum Leap and Cowboy Bebop. Almost all the episodes in Cowboy Bebop are pretty solid, but now I try to go back and watch it and it feels childish to watch a cartoon. Lots of the mind blowing stuff in STNG hasn't been that interesting in a while, spare a few really good episodes. I haven't watched Quantum Leap in a while, but I'm sure lots of the episodes still hold up, for the most part. But yeah, I struggle to understand why people waste their time watching most T.V. shows that just get cranked out with a 3/10 effort put into them (I've been an extra on T.V. sets when I lived in Los Angeles and even behind the scenes is obviously pretty dismal, quality-wise.) I even tried to watch Inception again, which is a pretty good movie and the whole thing just seemed cheesy to me. I need to watch some plays, read some books or real life events.
if that girl was the daughter then why did she not know it was her brothers that killed the dude and why did she push the dad into the pit? Her motivations as a crazy cult lady dont make sense as the original daughter. feels more like a twist they threw in to seem cool
In the show it is specifically said that she doesn't remember anything before the age of 9, why ? Because of a serious accident that happened to her when she was a child and that is yet to happen, and is the reason she has to take frequent medication. Plus remember that like ten years pass between Amy and Autumn. People can change in that time, especially if they got taken by a cult in the meanwhile. Plus she become really crazy after her grandad tried to murder her and she doesn't have access to her medication.
I thoroughly enjoyed that convoluted mess, knowing that I would never have to watch the original. The comedic effect of that gibberish was brilliant. Love this channel !!
the premise is really interesting but it became too overdone along the way. Too much going on and it feels like character building is 90% of the whole story.
Huh? How did they release a series in 2022 with white male and attractive white female leads? Didn't notice a single basketball, cricket or baseball player
Outer Range is a TV show, not a movie, but I enjoyed the show, and Poots is spectacular! :-) The Autumn Amy surprise was obvious very early in the show though.
Wish they distinguish when a recap is a series or a movie cause it gets a lot confused... that being said, I like these kinds of show so might check it out
Wait so why did Amy turn against the family? If hole sends them to the future why did Amy go back to time? Why was Amy there in the future too? I got so many questions
What a nice recap, thanks! And a very original story. Creative and interesting, although my alignment with the central characters flew off the rails part way through, because I was rooting for the guy who wanted justice for his murdered brother lol :D Rhett's ambition to be a champion bullrider was touching and endearing until he became a murderer over insults and helped cover up the crime, after that I was significantly less happy for him when he accomplished his dream and won the competition. Still an interesting story. :)
Isn't this based on a true story or the premise is based on a true story of a guy that found a big hole like this one on his farm too but the government shut it down I remember it from a radio interview
This was interesting, very interesting and promising series...And I sure hope that it will not be sniffed as so many other good ideas, good series which for one or another reason were cancelled. I hope that there will be another season, but a lot of time passed... I have no idea why, but maybe it is cancelled which would be really stupid.
It has been renewed for a second season in October 2022 so we're at least getting one more (and since the viewing scores are pretty good, maybe more). And it's only been a little less than a year since, don't worry, series like this takes time to produce.
@@DamZ1428 Well, that is good news, because I remember that I was frustrated not knowing what that hole was, and there were some good thespians... I sure would enjoy watching this kind of series if it eventually has a good explanation of what is going on. Thank you for the news.
I'm sure the pit is not the only odd thing in that town. There's gotta be something in the water or the air. Cause the behavior and actions of them makes no sense half the time.
this whole thing made me doubt myself as if i am not smart enough to understand everything but i have realized that the writer himself/herself doesn't understand it right.
@@youtubedj9298 just watch WhyFiles story on Mel's Hole for the earnest believers story and the conclusion with skeptic wrapup. He does a better job than Art Bell and others who just takes the stories on face value.
So, the movie was about the pit and the time travel, the only things that are not explained are the pit and the time travel, who the hell wrote this mess?
OMG this is convoluted, this is what it looks like when a writer is way out of his depth. I almost got a stroke just watching the recap. And why did a damn mountain disappear?!
