You could use quick Crete just enough to hold it and that will keep the wind from blowing it over making it heavier. Then moss around the bottom.

Your topiary turned out fabulous Sandra 😃 I love topiaries!! I agree, that other one was too expensive!! I have used fabric or burlap to cover my base, it's another great alternative to moss and rocks 😉 I like the craft paper look, gives it a rustic feel!! Thanks for sharing my friend. Take care 💖🤗

Where did you get the topiary balls that you glued on

I found them at a local dollar store called dollarama. I think it's only in Canada. You could do the same thing if you used a large Styrofoam ball painted it green and then stuck in some boxwood greenery.

Hi Sandra! Any idea how to make a topiary but top portion is cone shaped. I’m trying to make a 6 foot tree. Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you! Jann

Hi Jann, if you're looking for something to use as a cone shape on the top I would suggest making a cone from poster board and filling it with newspaper nice and snug and then putting a circular bottom on it. Perhaps using a wood round woodwork as the base then you could drill a hole into the bottom for the trunk.
