You find the cutest molds. I agree this would definitely be great to use for dying eggs at Easter too. Also love how you made use of the holes as checkers and shared the idea how they could be used as pendents as well

Very cute egg holder. ❤ 🥚 Rule for eggs, if eggs are received unrefrigerated and not wet washed, the cuticle still remain intact they can remain unrefrigerated for 3 weeks. vs 45 for refrigerator. Otherwise eggs must be refrigerated. During college my sister worked at a egg farm candling eggs for market 😂

If you stiffen the fabric it would be a lot easier. Super cute, bought the mold as soon as you showed it. I have chickens so this will work for me.

If you buy grocery eggs then you must refrigerate. If you have your own chickens you can brush off any dirt on them and store them unwashed without refrigeration. Once you wash them you remove a natural sealer and bacteria can enter the porous shell. You wash them right before use. If you are ever uncertain about the eggs being too old you can put water in a pot and drop them in. If they sink eat them if they float you can feed them to your dogs. If you haven't washed them and they are floaters they are just dehydrated and you can still treat your dog.

This was a neat idea. But I was thinking maybe cast this first with a thin clear resin, then use that clear piece as a template to mark and cut the fabric

If you wash your eggs, it’s most definitely necessary to refrigerate them. If you don’t wash them they will stay fresh for a couple of months due to the natural coating on eggs that preserves them. But that’s only for farm fresh eggs that have never been washed or refrigerated. Washing removes the natural coating, and cold destroys the coating as well. So once refrigerated or washed, keep them refrigerated.

So cute! I can’t even see the wrinkles. My daughter raised chickens and I was shocked that you don’t have to refrigerate eggs unless you wash them. I can see chicken ladies lovin’ this.

It turned out Beautifully and practical 😊 would you put a wobbly eye on your beautiful chicken to give it more character? I like a useful and decorative piece of art in my kitchen handmade with lots of love . The fabric is just perfect for the chicken and reminds me of a farmhouse. If run into a problem like this you can put your resin in cool water and that helps with hot and flash curing…. I just poured a puppy that was a solid 24 ounces and put a fan with in an inch away from it…..try the cool water method

This is too cute. Do NOT need to refrigerate fresh eggs... unless you wash them... only eggs from the market or grocery store have to be refrigerated.
