I am finally sharing our DIY farmhouse hood vent over our stove! It is a modern farmhouse style and I LOVE how it turned out! We used shiplap and did an accent piece with some stained wood. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!

The hood looks absolutely beautiful! The only thing is, the flexible ductwork is against code for range hoods. It should be switched out to a rigid duct.

The vent hood turned out beautiful. And S. has a sweet sense of humor as well. Can't beat that. :) Those babies are growing! I can't believe Faith's hair with all those lovely curls. And Mr. Miles is going to be as tall as dad.

Beautiful job. I’m in the process of doing the same. My question is how do you access the vent hood inside the front panel if you ever have to replace it? Will you just pry off the front?
