One of the charming kitchens I’ve seen on RU-vid. Warm and cozy. I wonder though if in real life, it doesn’t feel cramped with so many items on display. But looking at it, I just love the feel of it.

Good question! I’ve now officially hosted Christmas with ALL the family and it worked great, I can honestly say we weren’t cramped. Although, for my holiday baking I did clear the island cart and make it a work station during the process! The counters are realllllly deep so I have space in front of the ‘stuff’ to work…. It really is a functioning kitchen. (With a lot of stuff n’ stuff 🤣) thank you for your kindness, it really made my day! ❤️

Just love your kitchen. Its unique, different, yet farmhousy but with color! Which is what I love. That's what I'm trying to do in my home. You have given me such great ideas. Love this kitchen redo. Beautiful. Oh and thanks for the color, I felt farmhouse was just to boring, to white. Love primitive but to much of it is to much for me. LOL! But the combination is stunning! You nailed it!

I didn’t realize I had comments… thank you so much Ann!! yes some changes… also have replaced the sink with a deep farmhouse style sink… working on changing the hue of the countertops. The work cart island was a huge improvement during the holidays… I baked and made candy and it was so practical! My motto is, let’s see some color and more is more y’all! 🤣 glad you are kindred on this! Country Sampler Magazine was so fun! They did some rearranging but it was mostly how I’d have it! Sorry I’m late to respond. Thank you so much!! Xo

The hanging hutch too with glass is an actual antique. The other custom cabinets were made for us and patina was added! Where do you live!? I can get my hands on anything… I work closely with them.

I’m rolling tickled … I just walk by fast and keep it moving 😂😂😂😂😂 yes honestly there is BUT we put in new HVAC before moving in and new ductwork has served us well!! And swifter dusters are worth their weight in gold. The black stove top is my biggest irk lol Thank you so much for your kindness and appreciation for the cleaning lol xoxo

I’m sorry I missed your comment. The cabinet above the stove sits high enough, no problem there from steam or grease. I am not seeing any problems! I do know logically though the steam from boiling eggs etc is escaping in the house lol but hasn’t caused any issues either!!

They are temporary battery lights. We have hard wires up there and under the cabinets but haven’t pinned down lighting... we got the lights from bed bath and beyond!!!
