yeah normally we would. Its a handy job.

Adrian Morris you must do fuck all out in the farm then lad. Hahaha. We have all the loaders and diet wagons but shoveling oul bale out is not hard

@@Jack--mu3gs It is hard especially if it's not double chopped. I would just put a bale in front of each pen. No forking necessary.

Howard Walker cheers, no it was shot with a dji phantom 3 standard. The drone is good in terms of battery life, performance etc but the video latency is quite annoying so id say try out an advanced or professional if they are on offer as they have light bridge which ive been told has no latency. I have no experience with a mavick but if you can afford it then go for it.

+AgriSpec that's very nice footage didn't realise the DGIs were so good! Could you explain latency and would I have to worry about it on a new Mavick?

Howard Walker Yeah sure that isn't even full quality because my laptop isn't powerful enough to edit very high quality footage. Yeah the dji phantoms are good drones but the dji mavick is more portable which would be very handy as the phantom is very awkward. The latency between when the drone is flying towards a tree for example and then it takes about a second to transmit that to the screen on the controller so you always have a lag time between something happening and you seeing it so it can be challenging to fly. the standard only has a wifi connection which is slower than the more expensive djis with lightbridge. I doubt the mavick has latency but I've never tried one to see. ID say find someone who has one and try it out because it's a big investment.

Howard Walker Yeah some very near misses.The mavic does have some technology to prevent forward crashes which would help

Bambinohead1 Yeah she is in original order. Never painted. on her 3rd engine. She only does the winrowing in the summer. We don't have a third man to drive her to lift bales unfortunately.

@@SuperFen123 yeah, I have read statistics and some farmer interviews how they dont get real value out of their product, might actually get less than half of the real value. when buying stuff from store, very small amount of the money goes to farmer and expenses, and majority goes directly to the store.

Darren Ryan yeah, we always have. It only takes 10mins to do. For us it would be unjustifiable to use a diet feeder and also the 135 doesn't have the capability for a front loader or the oil flow for anything like a McHale bale splitter. In any case the more labour intensive aspect is cleaning out the cattle and calves. Forking out the silage is a very small job in comparison.

AgriSpec are the bales chopped when baled as this would help when forking the bale out? great video by the way

Ian David Thanks. no the bales aren't chopped. Our baler isnt a chopper baler.
