The one with the bucket square is called a areal and the one without is called a ladder cause that one does don’t have a bucket just sayin

The one without the basket is an aerial however the other truck is called a tower or some departments call them with her it's an aerial or a tower that you just call them a ladder 30 years in the fire service any other questions be glad to help

my dad works in the fire field and when he says that they are expensive (ladders) he is right. buying a brand new ladder truck can range anywhere from 700,000 to 1,200,000 dollars.
