I absolutely NEED that USB Ignition Lock! I already have the Logitech Heavy Equipment Bundle (wheel, side panel and pedals), plus the beacon light from the FS22 Collector's Edition. By the time FS30 comes out I'll have an entire tractor interior in my room...
There's a point where you start cruising FB marketplace and you buy a cheap old tractor. I've had an old 8n now for a year. It doesn't run, but my God I love looking at it in the driveway and thinking I'll fix it tomorrow.
I honestly don't care about new crops or better graphics, I want dynamic dirt. Farming has the risk of getting the tractor buried to its axles in wet conditions, it's one of the more challenging things when working a field.
Their is mods for that already on pc and ones for dynamic groud pressure(like how much traction and wheels you have on the ground) and honestly the issue with them is it’s not even realistic my quadtrac was getting stuck in a fairly dry field on a high spot without even being in the ground with the bourgault drill,it’s a bit too extreme imo not to mention makes some tractors not even be able to run a piece of equipment because it makes some of them just sit and slip completely because weight in this game ain’t a thing.Everything is super light and can be easily moved you crash into a full grain cart with a tractor that cart ain’t moving much if any lol but on fs22 it just gets chucked, same with bales same thing they don’t have weight stuff accelerates to fast etc so you either go arcade for casuals or hardcore realistic thst some of the community enjoys
It should implemented in the base game more classic farm machinery like the 6620 Titan and Titan II Combines and 4450 tractors. Along with that era it would be nice to have time appropriate grain trucks like Chevrolet C60 & C65. I'd like to see a bit more finite speed control implemented. So far I can set speeds at 1-0.5 mph; I'd like to set in tenths of a mile per hour. With older equipment like the 6620 I'd like to operate the combine in a more accurate range. If memory serves correctly the overall average harvest speed for that machine was 2.3 mph. Also not sure what the corn picking animations look like in the new game but Giant really needs to work on it.
Cant help but feel that the difference between the cinematic trailer and the gameplay shots is far too much of a delta. I understand that cinematic trailers are only to build hype, but with todays game engines there is no reason to not have in-game graphics the same as the trailer (other than development cost of course)
Farming Simulator 25 looks really great and I cannot wait for it to be released! It could definitely be a possibility that they are adding winching into the game. As I'm sure most of you remember they did make a winch mechanic for trees in the Platinum Edition of Farming Simulator 22 so if they add winching into Farming Simulator 25 it would make sense. Also if they are adding winch mechanics, maybe there is a possibility of us getting stuck in the fields which could also tie into the probability of them adding Dynamic ground or flooding. As far as the water pumps to flood the fields to plant rice it would also make sense because of the Pumps and Hoses DLC in Farming Simulator 22.
I agree with that one maybe a tie in with Mud Runners because they pritty much own the rights to ground deformation drive into the Map could be a simular thing .again a feature from the Mud Runners Games is the ability to drive from one map to another from my understanding of that series. A feature that would be handy if you were managing several maps at the same time with out the need to go via the menu screen. Ground deformation is the one thing that as kept me away from the game since 2016. After Spintires gave us mud and different ground types, it is much needed in FS though how hard that is to add while simulating crops and other parts of the game, I have no idea how complex that across multi platforms to add in the game. But I will keep an eye on how FS25 develops.
@clockdva20 cattle and crops was a good proof of concept. A bigger studio could definitely pull off fully dynamic ground with an engine change or massive re work of the giants engine. Especially since most of the staff for cattle and crops were ex giants staff.
the implements in the Platinum version of 19 came to 22 base game, being the sugarcane harvesting. so if i were to guess the implements in 22s platinum will be coming to 25 as standard and the winch is part of the logging side made better for the whole game and may be used as a "get out of mud" option if it can strap to trees or another tractor
I hope with the ground deformation they integrate soil compaction. (I know crop destruction is a thing) but the more you work a field you should see on a map (like soil type) the compaction rate.. effecting growth and drill-ability. Integrate tyre pressures etc
Thanks for the video. I'm exited, but also afraid that it will feel like traveling back in time, because modders is what has improved Fs22 beyond what is impossible to describe. So thanks to all mod creators, I really hope it will be possible for them to get access and be able to continue their contributions to the game, that is why I'm happy to play Fs22
I live in Thailand, surrounded by rice fields. I am hoping that they have the type of machinery I see around here, but I am not really sure that it they will be, as some of them look to be home built.
Still no ground physics, no ai farming competition, no gps. It is the same engine and from screenshots looks exactly like 19, 22. What’s change is price is much higher than ever was before.
Really looking forward to this. To bad I probably won't be able to buy the collector's edition because Giants chooses to only make it avalible in select countries. At least that's what they did with FS22.
I am not to hyped so far tbh. It looks like they again skipped the main feature everybody wanted, which was dynamic ground. Yet they made it ps5 etc only. But right now based off the screenshots, it looks like a reskinned fs22 with some new stuff that could have been a DLC on Fs22.
Anyone else disappointed looking at those screenshots? To my eyes it looks identical to FS22, which looked pretty similar to FS19. How can there be so little graphical improvement in 6 years?
They should get the prices right, and the tons of leeches, banks and corporations, I am having trouble immersing as a modern day slave. Subsidies for letting some land go to wildlife in the EU and fines for doing the same in Norway. More bureaucracy! And region correct climate! Failed crops!
I wonder if you play the central European map, if you get your farm established if the game crashes as the government shuts you down for being bad for the environment.
@@rabidbadger5260 you’d think so, it’s a really under represented area of the sim. About time they credited and recognised the efforts of the likes of BulletBill and OxygenDavid
I agree, but tbh I think they know that A the modders will bring them and B I honestly think that Giants don’t believe they could nail it/match the quality of the modded UK maps, so they just don’t bother. Because surely after this many games they would have made one if they actually wanted to. They’re clearly avoiding it Edit: I replied before watching the whole video 😂 but I still won’t get my hopes up
@@TimmyTheSnail I’d be inclined to agree, I’ve never seen what I suppose you could call “British map quality” in a majority of maps. The people that make our beloved British maps are a genuine credit to our community.
Funny thing is - looking at the trailer - there are game engines capable of producing those visuals right now, and looking at the provided screenshots you feel like Giants saying 'lets just upgrade the textures'... I see almost no improvement over current version; my Reshade profile gives me a better upgrade tbh :). I'm a sucker for visuals, but let's hope some interesting gameplay features will be introduced/improved. BTW the recent top 10 poll video, that list should be a starting point for Giants going into FS2025 development... again, I'm not very optimistic... 🤞
@martindixon54 right, a lot of the big articulating tractors have them between the front and rear sections, and the one shown here was articulating as well.
The cable up front actually goes to the back of the tractor and is for pulling out the tractor if it got stuck. You cannot pull a tractor on its front site, because you can risk pulling the engine off or snapping the tractor in half. With the cable running to the back, you pull the load of the implement and help the tractor on a stress free point. We have a 9590 Rx with a cable and it works lovely because it is always in place compared to our older 9570 R without one and if you get stuck it is a mess trying to get a chain or cable from the front to the underside at the back😂 It is possible pulling newer tractors that have chassis from the front, but not recommended.
If there isn't a serious overhaul to the field terrain or vehicle mechanics, I have no plans on buying... I've bought every single game since FS13, FS22 is so stable and does what it does so well, so why buy a new game that does the exact same thing.
Asian farming and field irrigation is an interesting direction that shows there's some ambition to go beyond what the game has traditionally been about. I would love to see FS long term local environmental changes and include hostile environment farming. Imagine starting in essentially a desert near a river and having to build out irrigation and infrastructure -- eventually resulting in a lush green productive piece of land. Would finally give a real use for excavators as well, other than just tree harvester platforms.
@@dootthedooter except potatoes are farmed world wide. 90% of all rice farmed is out of Asia and 91% of all the spinach farmed is out of China. Giants is a corporation that makes minor tweaks for each iteration and relies on the mod community to round out the game. I'm not faulting them I'm just pointing out it could be so much better.
i think the screenshots look pretty much like 22. the fog is a nice addition but any DOF needs to go, if that doesnt have a toggle then its a dealbreaker. imagine if it looked as good as the cinematic. like other games these days do.
@@redragon9588 ofc they wont. fs is like the fifa games. sell the exact same game over and over. volymetric fog and rice farming could have just been an update imo.
Honestly nothing has drastically changed with the game which was kinda expected, graphics may have improved a little but I feel the engine is what’s holding them back at this point.. Let’s hope the base maps are decent and the selection of equipment is good!(let’s pray they don’t have 10+ 3m wide cultivators and seeders again) terraform looks like it got added I’m wondering if they are just using the code from the mod or not 🤔
The most interesting thing to me is the ground deformation I doubt it’s dynamic ground, and the screenshots seem to support this but what could it mean
Look up the mod called multi terrain angle it pretty much makes the plowing and stuff look smoother and allows it to go in different directions. That is my best guess as it is already a mod. It also could just mean they added the terra farm mod to the game, which does not seem like that big of a deal as long as you are on pc
The main farmers saw OTHER farmers working with the rice. Do you think this means we might actually get to see other farmers working in their fields? A feature we've wanted for years!
Chris Hulsbeck used to write music for old games way back when, starting with the Commodore 64 I believe. If you grew up in the 80's playing games, you heard his music
I would really love to see the used machinery section completely re designed. At the minute you have to hope that what you need is in the 4 or 5 slots allocated. It would be much more fun and realistic to have a second hand shop, to be able to buy much more used equipment and machinery. And obviously with that comes more hours, paint damage, and more maintenance required.
saw the video went to buy the collector's edition "Currently not available in the selected country", I live in Australia... guess I will have to hope and pray and try again later this week
When I saw underwater fields, the first crop I thought of was cranberries. I wonder if someone will figure out a way to incorporate them into the game.
I know you (and everyone) have done what would you like to see videos and idk if anyone has mentioned this but I think instead of the silly don't harvest in rain you had to take a moisture reading of your crop. So even like a damp morning means you have to wait a few hours to get your harvest in otherwise there is a drying charge instead of a yield penalty.
Here in the western US we swath grass for seed generally overnight up to about 10am, cutting with a dew is generally considered beneficial. When swathing fescues the higher moisture content in the early morning hours help to prevent seed loss known as “shatter”.
@@tfsalpha9161 I didn't know that. These games are a great platform to teach the general populous these kinds of things. But it could become so complex and niche that no one gets it or cares to learn it. So I guess they have to walk that line.
@@ZmbiBglz agreed! As an ag mechanic I can tell you with absolute confidence there is too many small details, tasks, tricks and different ways of doing things that it is beyond impossible to put it all into a game. Even attempting to build an actual training simulator like nasa would use would be impossible. Of the five farms I deal with almost every day each one does the same thing a different way.
Is it just me or does the graphic for the stars align look like a wheel deforming the mud under it? Could it be that dynamic ground is coming but won't be fully implemented straight away.
They better improve animal ranching! Actual meat production, and pasture grazing. I hate how the animals currently work in fs22. I won’t buy unless some big changes happen.
would be cool if you can see the neighbors working on their crops, add more animals, dogs, cats, bugs, birds, tractors should have damage if you scrape it or dent it, fix your tractor engine, flat tires, drill blade replacements, etc lol realistic weather, realistic water on equiptments
I hope/wish there are crop dusters for planting and application of fertilizer and seed rather than just transplant. Crop dusters are a much faster way to farm and it would be fun. on the other hand it would bring in a whole new flight mechanic to the game and we would need an airfield as well as a big enough map.
@@SnickerdoodIe didn’t figure they would be maybe by the next 2-3 games they add it. Not like there going to add everything in one game cuz then they have nothing to upgrade to
