We hate David already LOL. Great update mate...seriously love hearing your opinion and a lot makes sense. Maybe be more like NPC's in GTA...where you can post your # on a bulletin board, NPC'S can call you for work to be done which would be awesome...creates more of a realistic feel...especially with a start from scratch platform game play perspective. A lot of great things could be added that would be a game changer for FS25 so ..hoping that the creativity of the Devs will expand into ideas that it's players have..vs just what they think we want to see ya know.
I want to look forward to this game, however i have a creeping doubt most of the new features i will most probably never utilise nore enjoy. However they will be there for other people to enjoy while i plow a field for hours on end 👍
Firstly, great video scroft, you always present these very well, very clear and informative. Secondly and I really don’t mean to sound negative but it feels like giants have put a lot of time and effort into features that are a bit pointless in my opinion. I think the novelty of the interactive NPCs will wear thin pretty quick when they start repeating themselves. I just think they could have focused their efforts and resources on other aspects of the game that have greater longevity. For me personally fs25 starts when an Oxy map hits the modhub.
I really like the possibility to build your farm from scratch, and the mud on the tires look very good! The grandpa feature is a nice addition, although I hope he doesn't take away the feeling of managing the farm all by yourself, with no other influence (like some people like to do).
I'm not finished with FS22. TBH, I would have perfered 'FS26' comming out in 2025. And with even more new stuff to do.. I know,; -1st world problem. Cheers from Copenhagen, DK
Knowing Giants, the NPC's will 1000% be static in the same spot, day/night, rain/shine. Exactly like you'd expect people to act IRL. I'm still not sold on FS25. This doesn't feel like a big enough step forward from 22. It feels more like a full price DLC.
This sounds like a fad that would be interesting for the first playthrough. It definitely should have been a story mode mode. It feels like a bit of a tease actually. Disappointing.
I am with you Scroft. Dropping wood in a zone to see a budling appears feel blend. What would be awesome, which is obviously not in 25, would be to let you design a structure (like in The Forest, Valheim and so on), which would be translucent until your bring the wood to build it. How amazing would it be to design your own shed in game ... the size you want ... then bring the material to complete it!
NPC David. When the letters floickers away. DAVID, AVID, A ID... Avoid. And he lost his old farm. Just wonder, if some of the NPC's will give you wrong answers and bad tips.
The piano maker on Zielonka was completely useless, it was just a wood sell point. The design of the building also did not make any sense, why would a piano workshop be on a raised level with huge stairs going up to it? The same goes for this new coach-production building and wood-toy building, why aren't these just at ground level instead having two or 3 story's?
