Im with you on the animals. It feels like a spreadsheet with UI instead of a game and could really use an overhaul

At around 1 hour you asked what the thing is about..... the applause wasn't because of that thing, he was talking about the farmers market and how it make them think about basically making all the productions smaller, so a saw mill and then a woodworking shed, a warehouse and a farmers market, a giant grain mill and a little Miller.... and that's what the white thingy represents, the difference between a macrocosm and a microcosm

Thank you Scroft for all the information, I think one thing people need to remember they are making a game for a large variety of players so having it to realistic will turn some people off, like when comes to getting stuck and in depth things like that, also they will be holding a lot back to slowly release later on, as for animals I'm with you on them needing to be improved. But thank you again for all your grate content and I hope you and Beanie had a grate time, I just hope George Survived without the two of you.

Overall the game looks great. Its all a much bigger step up from 22 than 22 was over 19. If I've got one criticism though its that the sky box is still pretty underwhelming. The cloud shadows are great but the clouds only look marginally better than FS22. I was really hoping we'd get proper cloud variety. Maybe they're just not showing us yet but I hope to be a bit more impressed with the new weather features.

i've seen so many comments with each fs release over the year's all generally the same comment on how the game is just the same game reskinned release after release , in a way i can see there point fundamentally it's a farming game so yes the bones of the game from release to what is today and what's coming is the same what's a shame is they only see the bones and not the tasty meat that's been added release after release and all the little bits and pieces that just add to it

how about not only more animals as beautiful as that would be but also bugs and insects fly around randomly, also to see your neighbors working on their fields.

The U.S. map looks really good for a Giants map. I think it promises good maps in the future from Giants and I can't wait to see what the modders can do. I like the idea of smaller productions, how many farmers own factories?!! I agree with you I am looking for an overhaul of the animal husbandry. Thanks for putting this together it was quite helpful.

Curios if the new wear system will work on plastic, so when you will have deep paint scratch we will see black plastic. Right now it is only on metal. Also if they will add glass surfaces wear ( scratched headlights or windshield). Another thing is that in that picture the dirt and snow layers are overlapping so possible to have snow and dirt on the same time on the machines.

Nice work with informing us all with this information. Lots of great stuff to look forward too. After seeing it a lot, I'm a little unsure of the "fog". Not only as a creator, but in real life as well. I hope the fog doesn't appear everyday in game. I hope it's a bit more random as in real life. Although, it may be something we can turn "on" and "off" like snow too. I can't wait to play a bit more survival now with these buildable buildings and such. The American map looks good so far. I really hope more of the American style buildings are actually useful this time because there are so many great ones on Elm Creek that you can't even use. Thanks again for the great presentation here.

the little tug boats used to push logs to different parts of the sawmill used in USA and Canada. small but very strong. hope we get to use them in game when delivering logs.

To be honest, I wasn't hyped about FS25. I was kind of hoping that there wouldn't even be a new game this year, because I thought that it would just be FS22 with Giants own halfbaked versions of a few popular mods in the basegame.

I think so many people are undermining the improvements these changes will make to the overall feel and atmosphere of the game. While I can agree there may not be everything we were hoping, this is so many massive steps in the right direction, I think many folks will change their minds when they are in game for themselves. It’s a stark contrast to FS22, and these changes are looking fantastic. People need to understand that many of the things they may ask for (such as fully dynamic ground) are just not necessary from a gameplay standpoint in a farming simulator game in comparison to how difficult that can be to achieve on a high quality level. That being said, it would be an awesome addition, but just not a priority at all as you said Scroft.

The animals in the video is definatly the same from 22, but I think Giants will present the new ones in upcoming news. I saw a closeup of the new characters and it was a massive improvement. Hang in there Scroft. 😅

Scroft looks very promising im looking forward to Ge i feel with the compression nearly halving the size of a objects eg trees it will give mappers room to fill there maps more hopefully deeping the overall immersion of maps
