I agree. It seems like he led her astray and basically ruined her life with his violence, philandering, drug and alcohol use and overall low rent lifestyle. So so incredibly sad and I believe that she would still be around today if she were with the right man and someone who not only protected her but treated her with respect and care. Farrah knew he was beneath her and the fact that she refused to marry him right up to the end speaks volumes.

I believe she had cancer and was in pain but she hadn’t told anyone yet. Maybe she had but I think she had taken something for her horrible pain and that’s how it effected her. I felt so sorry for her when that happened. She was an amazing actress and person. Beautiful to the end and beyond. I lived in Houston for a while and I had gone to Target. People were starting to gather in a group. Everyone was excited because they had seen her in the store and I missed it. 😢
This is a perfect example of how some people who have everything money, fame, lover's beauty and 'all that goes with it' can still have a 'fucked up life'. It may be the same story over and over and over.
I see what you mean. I was looking back and remembering Farrah back in the seventies. I remember Farrah as one of the original Charlie's Angels that magical first year where she became a phenom. Not many people have that level of fame. I know she developed her acting and got much better and went on to do some good work in TV movies. But something happened along the way that wasn't good. Wonder if it was the Ryan O'Neil relationship that was so volatile it wasn't healthy. Sad she passed on rather young. I remember the early days when she seemed so happy.
She was correct when she said you had to have all of her to love her. She was so much more than that poster. She was more than the hair and more than the teeth. It was everything about her that made her great. She might not be the most portrait perfect beauty but she was California Magic. Even from Texas.
No matter what was happening with Farrah, with the kids Ryan always managed to make it all about him. I have no respect for him and from what I know, his kids have no respect for him neather.

It's tragic that she had a baby with Ryan O'Neal. He is a brilliant actor, but too narcissistic to be a good father. Every single one of his kids has grown up so hurting and addicted. Heartbreaking.

I just saw a video of an old Canadian talk show featuring a bloated , wasted Ryan O'Neal ( pretty much how he looks with Barbara) bragging about how he broke up her marriage with Lee Majors. Lee had innocently brought home Ryan to have dinner. The snake who was struck by Farrahs beauty also immediately sensed trouble in the marriage. He pretended to be Lees friend. When Lee was away working, Ryan remembered that Farrah had liked a particular blues artist. He told the interviewer that he knew it was "evil " but " oh well " He asked Farrah to come see them perform....and then he smugly told the intervewer that " the rest is history" . What a pig. Yeah Ryan ...the rest is history - you and your insane kids destroyed her.
His children were innocents: Basically abused, neglected & abandoned by their no-goodnik father and drug-addled mother. Farrah and Ryan were filled with lust, not love. She didn't object, nor did she care when she & Lothario dumped their respective spouses and left his children alone to move to their beach love nest. Yes, she had beauty, but little else.
