So sorry for your loss I lost my girl 14 on the 25th November 2023 .i lost my boy in 2020 aswell its so hard when we loose them they will always have a place in out heart and we will never forget them 😘🙏
Dispite all the harm and all the suffering bull and terriers (Today: Standard Bullterrier, mini bullterrier, Staffies, Amstaffs/APBT) been through i am really thankful that some big breeding mind came up with the idea to mix terriers and bulldogs... I grew up with an american pitbull terrier and now i give my kids the opportunity to grow up with a staffy... Luckily staffies are not banned in Berlin like amstaffs and pitbulls :( My family had bull and terriers (even 2 Jackbulls they are great aswell - like a revamped staffy ^^) for around 40 years now and i can't think of better breeds - everytime i see one i am acting like a little kid with hearts in my eyes. Keep the great work up Will, i love your videos!
@@lillegend_4835 they have so less differences that not all kennel clubs agree to differentiate them yeah. A Genotypical DNA test will yield the same results for amstaffs and pitbulls... The difference between them is that pitbulls are generally more athletic and a tiny bit smaller... They aren't bred as show dogs like the amstaffs are. They used to be the same until 1936 until the clubs split.
@@lillegend_4835 however are of Bulldog and terrier sons so if not the same one must be disguised and the other not, you can differ as many names as possible and yet same parents since its creation all the said shipowners wish to make in its bloodlines, races
My fiancé is got severe bilateral hearing loss and she is wanting a dog for emotional support. I’ve had Stephies in the past that I think it would be a great fit. Curious about your thoughts thank you will
Brian plummer wrote a book based on a true story about a staff from fighting times. Its called ‘Nathan’. Its a great book if anyone want to read it. Obviously very sad also. Brian plummer created the ‘plummer terrier’. The non KC registered working ratting terrier
it is in 1835 its official, moreover the dob is not a really German race, to things in this video which are just in addition to bloodlines of this Bull which are not in kC therefore told the tale of this Bull is really not a good thing because many want to hypocritically distinguish a bloodline to make it another race so there too there is misunderstanding
I dont buy the modern version of the history of these dogs. I think the truth is we know very little. His explanation is the exact same thing as what you can read on wikipedia. I think this type of historian is what i call a "text book historian". Strangely enough you go back some years ago, the story was again different, i remember reading farily frequently that staffies were bred for "ratting" because of diseases etc. This does not however deliniate or remove their blood sport prior history. And in 10 years from now i am sure that google and youtube (because they dont like eduacted people they want a dumb society) will change the story again, like they do with all things regarding history) just like they want to elimiate the american pitbull terrier.
you are right but you have to go back in time to better understand it is not of today because bloodlines to the breed of the Bull which was as much banned as the name of the breed as the breed itself as much by the English kennel as by others offices of the canine world than other non-canines, in addition the Bull is only half official if it were official, all its bloodlines would be official but that has never been the case since its creation without counting the rest
