Love this! I like when instruments take very technical and usually screen-heavy things like granular synthesis and make them very immediate and physically interactive. And this seems very responsive when playing. Will be an instrument I have to keep an eye on.

Yeah! The response feels very natural. I didn't even think about it while playing, it just behaved as expected. The grid pattern is slightly embossed which provides a nice bit of tactile feedback compared to using something like an iPad for granular - though there are definitely some great granular apps. More dedicated knobs would be cool but it's always the tradeoff with size, cost, etc.
