This documentary observes a new women's movement emerging in the USA focused on reverting to the values of traditional housewives of the 50s and early 60s, through the story of a Chicago divorcée.
Jennifer is a super-fan of 'Fascinating Womanhood' by Helen Andelin, an international best-seller in 1963 which is the bible of the movement. She travels to Springfield, Missouri to assist the author's daughter, Dixie, who is about to publish a follow-up book for the current generation of women.
