yeah but you'd have to be really create your own furniture using objects and use hidden objects and look at no cc videos. There are lot of creative sims building tutorials out there that don't include cc. Kate emerald also has detailed building videos that show you how to create interesting things, like infinity and glass pools, split level pathways, etc. Watching some of these has really upped my building. I do recommend you still download a few build cc. Especially windows. Mutske on tsr has really good glass windows that take up the entire wall.
