See now, having Scottish background, and the fact that TAEMIN is wearing real kilt tartan I took that ‘safety pin’ as a kilt pin. It’s a very common accessory with kilts, albeit the giant pin is one of the more plain decorations/accessories that can be worn on a kilt. I was excited to see it!

I looove first look with black and white costume with his hair is just cheff's kiss, but not gonna lie his white paints with handing straps or last white sport look are another level, and he sold them 1000% percent. At thit point his stylists know his body and movements very well to acentuate his choreo and concept of his videos which are ALWAYS mind-blowing! I'm sure Taemin loves these costumes immensely since by putting on those outfits he trully transforms into character he wants to portray❤❤

The black and white suit is also one of my fav! Whenever I think about the suit I think of one of the promo photos on SHINee insta where they play w the background causing the black side of suit get loss into the back thus defining more of the white side of the suit. It looks so cool! 😩

While I was watching the MV I was thinking ‘George is gonna LOVE the black and white suit with the checkerboard shirt underneath’ like in that moment where he slowly walks to the front? Sickening. I had a feeling it would be your fave!!! And the tracksuit moment 😍 I had the same thought: love when idols dare to wear androgynous clothing!! every look was perfection, bless his stylist for putting him in these and bless him for having the confidence to wear them!

He's not stranger to that taping style. He's got an amazing MAMA stage (2016, Guess Who, Soldier, Goodbye) where he used that so beautifully. I do kinda feel that some moments in this video (as well as the fashion) as like corrupted or deconstructed versions of other things he's worn before (in Danger, Press your number, Famous). But that's just my feeling. P.S.-I'm not recommending that performance for you to react because it's MAMA and it might get blocked, but just give it a look if you're curious :)

Taemin. What an artist.

The entire concept of the song is that people would tell him his music/music videos/overall style were too intense for kpop, so he's saying here that it doesn't matter what anyone says, he's going to do things the way he wants and that the more they try to control him, the more he'll rebel against it. And that concept comes through so well with the clothes and how genderbent they are. The way it switches between him wearing baggy shorts with fishnet lacy thigh highs, a structured suit with heeled boots, the grungy oversized jacket and going shirtless to show off his "masculine" muscles to the white crop top with the f*cking sports bra underneath!! Plus the line "I'll destroy the torso you lusted after" while completely showing off the giant side tattoo he got which totally goes against how the media/public perceived "little dainty girly Taemin" for so long. He knows exactly what his strengths are and his androgynous features are one of them, which is something he used to resent and got made fun of for a lot but now has totally reclaimed for himself to make him stand out because it's something only he can do. He apparently worked with the stylist and lyricist for all of this too to make sure the vision came out the way he wanted, he's such a genius.

My absolute favorite outfit from Taemin is actually from one of his Danger performances. He wears this suit where the jacket and shirt have newspaper print on it. I've been *obsessed* with finding a button down newsprint shirt ever since it had such an impact on me. Favorite from this mv though is a toss up from the black and white suit and the white crop top. Taemin looks so good in suits and that one in particular is so visually interesting, but the crop top falls so perfectly in line with his androgynous image, plus we got to see his tattoo for the first time ^.^

I'm loving his styling and dancing in this one...the visuals are insane. Unfortunately, it's not my favorite song BUTTT here to support this crazy talented human.

I have two absolute favourite outfits: - the suit! While I saw it for the first time during his beyond live concert, I lost it... I think I blacked out because the outfits (his and his backdancers' outfits) were just so perfect. The black and white and the checkerboard pattern on his shirt kinda grey and black with some part highlighted even more with some sparkly things... his hair, his boots... it just screams perfection, I have nothing else to say. - the supreme hoodie/sweatpants outfit. It seems simple, like something anyone can wear but, it is so special too. First he is wearing a beautiful crop hoodie, enhancing his waist. They added a sweatpants with the supreme underwear's band very visible. And they dared to juxtapose all of that with a supreme sport bra underneath the hoodie. Not only he is revealing his waist, but he is also wearing something supposedly designed for women which is so cool (why isn't it a thing in our everyday life? I LOVE IT SO MUCH). And his make up... omg, another kind of perfection right here!

when you are describing the suit so well it made me think; there are people who have one color or the other, represented by dancers in black and white, but taemin can have both colors and you'll never pin him down, also then the colors get meshed together in the shirt which is his inner self also showing in his sleeve

Taemin is my SHINee bias and I love his vocals but this song is just so different (in a good way) what I mean by this is that the song sounds so sad and he sounds so heartbroken that it makes me feel the emotions he is going thru and almost makes me cry. also I love the piano sound in the song as it really brings out the emotions Taemin is showing us

Am I having a moment, or are his fingers tinted while wearing the black/white suit? They look very orange, and in some scenes it appears they're either dipped or painted, similar to when he's playing the piano, but in another color. I thought it might be a fingertip glove of some sort? He does wear gloves in one of the stage performances, but they're sheer and black. I adore when he slips back into the dancer's group, he's expertly mirroring each half of the color. Legendary. Also, the jacket didn't read barbed wire to me, it looked like it was intertwined crowns of thorns, which gave me a very different take on the fashion and symbolism (?) involved.

I think my favorite is the white outfit simply because the way they did his makeup added that subtle off-kilter-emo vibe the mv was really going for.
