Key is actually a fashion designer! He's done collabs with other artists here and there and he also received his Master's of Culture and Education Contents Development at Woosuk University. His Master's thesis was titled "The Influence of Styling Education on Appearance Satisfaction and Self-Esteem of Korean Adolescents". Also, In 2015 SHINee's label (SM Entertainment) actually appointed Key as one of the label's fashion Directors and he's taken part in designing SHINee's concert outfits ever since (as far as clothes for their or his solo music videos, I am unsure). He also used to be a special editor for Elle Korea and had his own bi-weekly column called "Key Story" where he shared his tips on fashion and various other related topics. He's definitely been incredibly close to fashion for some time now which is something I really love about him

Once Key couldn't attend b/c he was in Japan, so he dressed up as Voldemort, makeup and everything, took a picture, and sent over a life sized cardboard cut out of himself to go in his place. A legend. SHINee has a Halloween inspired music video! It's 'Married to the Music' and it's sooo fun.

I think Key is also a big vintage shopper. So some items might be hard to find. Wow, that’s crazy the jacket he is wearing is just like what my schoolmates wore in the 80s to hardcore shows. Those are actual band names on the jacket.

yayy im so so glad u finally checked him out !!:) im hoping u get the chance to get into his solo stuff cause he is JUST amazing. in his vlogs he included clips of him choosing and designing his outfits for his solo, there is also a video of him talking about the stage outfits he designed for shinee’s concerts. he also wrote a masters thesis dedicated to fashion and the youth, he rlly is an icon to me. ALSOOO HE HAS DOGS NAMED COMMEDES AND GARCONS like how cool is that :)

the bag that Key is wearing in the first look with the red coat is a YSL sac du jour in the largest size they have I believe, you can see from the little button lock case hanging from the clochette and the accordion sides compared to a birkin that has a sliding lock cover and a less severe accordion side, you can also see because the birkin has hardware on in on the side straps (they're called sangles) and the turn lock and also the flap like you mentioned as well as where the handles attach to the main body of the bag, hermes uses a chevron ending where as YSL's is square. Though the man does own a birkin maybe 2 a 30 or 35cm and one in one of the luggage sizes.

AHH yes my favorite human ever, the almighty Kim Kibum!! Key is actually one of SM ent's fashion director, and he used to be the brand ambassador for Jill Stuart. He also did a collab with fashion designer, Irene Kim for the brand CHARMS. He has several videos explaining his thought process when designing outfits for SHINee and it's very fascinating to watch! I remember one interview where he brought his 32-page ppt print out report detailing the objectives, messaging, creative pegs and proposed design for their Japan tour outfits!

He was so ambitious. He loved trying out everything. He has said, after he came back from the military, that he wants to focus now more on one look and complete it. Rather than being all over the place. He feels too old for a lot of looks now but he cares a lot about it still. Fashion king. 👑 He has said he doesn’t care so much about fashion in his daily life It’s more about presenting a look as an artist. On stage and in airports and at shows. But in his daily life he is way more basic. I really like his confidence and he can truly pull off anything.

Key really has good sartorial sense. He and G-Dragon really pioneered Kpop "airport fashion" in male idols. He also designs and styles their concert outfits and now even their MVs.

The bag you are looking for is a Saint Laurent large sac de jour carry all bag in black grained leather. He loved that bag soo much. since that he had upgraded to two Birkins, a medium gold box calf and a large soft Black swift.

Ahh I’ve been waiting for this video! So happy it’s finally here! I loved what all you had to say and definitely agree, especially with what you said about how he ties in color! Of the looks included in the video the 1st is definitely my favorite! I’ve been in love with that look ever since I first saw it and it’s definitely stayed in the top 5 for me when it comes to his airport fashion.

Key has a huge ass closet full of designer and vintage clothes. Me: I really love his outfit here. George: *yeets the blazer* It is not a vibe, goodbye~ Me: eye---- Well, that top is still fire on its own. I think we've all mentioned it in the Don't Call Me video, but Key always has lots of input on the outfits they wear for both their MVs and their concerts. His approach to fashion is all about being bold and owning what you wear. He definitely has that attitude, I wish I had 1% of his self-confidence, hah. He even makes Marge Simpson's dress look good. (Not really, but he rocks it better than anyone else, lol.)

My favorite look is definitely that second, monochromatic look you mentioned. That jacket and those pants are just amazing. I love them so much. It reminds me a lot of Japanese street wear. My only problem is that I'm not a huge fan of those shoes. I'm not a fashion expert so I don't know what I'd prefer... but maybe something a bit more matte? It looks reminiscent of the big, blocky shoes you see in Japanese street wear but is just too close to a loafer for my taste. (Not that I have anything against loafers but the rest of the outfit is so... unique that it just seems a bit boring by comparison. That could just be the angle though and it's DEFINITELY just my very humble, uneducated opinion. ;;;;;>.>)
