Why is shagufta Ejaz’s photo shoot not being spoken about? Frankly disappointed with both of you for not being frank and being honest about sajjal. She is a great actor but that red carpet look was disastrous. Both of you could have been more frank and honest.

I’m not even 2 minutes into the video… but the editor deserves a RAISE! We all need to ‘raise’ our voices so we can get him/her the due they deserve😝❤️

The way you both viewed Indian celebrities today was very critical. #not fair guys. Sajal Aly is an extremely talented actor, but the red carpet is not all about acting; it's about style and appearance.

I especially did not expect this 'diplomacy' from Tabish who is usually so refreshingly blunt :) I honestly didn't think that Sajal Ali was looking bad but talk about it. You should not have discussed Sajal’s look of you both did not have balls to criticise her. You guys can only discuss and roast those celebrities who don’t like your pictures, write comments, tag you in stories and make Tictoks to you.

Ok guys we all appreciate Sajal Aly , she is a gorgeous lady. Saying that you guys should not shy away from commenting what was not good at ALL ! If you don’t review her looks because she is an amazing actress than that’s not fair with other people you DO talk about . I am amazed at Sajal as well she did look in the mirror before stepping out in public!!! She could have just worn an eastern outfit if she specifically wanted to represent Pakistan 🇵🇰 Moreover this was not a local event ! So how does being ill dressed represent Pakistan in a good way ??? Aamina and Tabish if you are taking this forum on than you have to be true to your trade . That’s all .

And how much leeway do you guys need to continue to give the pakistani stars on the international scene. I mean you guys are critiquing cricketers for crying out loud but have a problem dissecting Sajal Ali's look. I so look forward to fashion fortnightly(my fave out of the Something Haute family) but this was a disappointment.

So whats the point of being Fashion Critics when are you scared to review a fashion disaster by Sajal. You criticised mehwish HAYAT but can’t criticise sajal because you go to tours with her.

I am quite astonished at people criticizing their review on Sajal's look. They basically did criticise her look, but ever so sensitively due to the gravitas of her achievement. I clearly remember Amma refraining from criticizing on the looks of Pakistani actors at Cannes this year. There is a decency in criticizing someone's look who has achieved immensely in their quality as an actor, their primal job. So from my side, well done both of you and thank you for this amazingly entertaining video.

Hi Aamna, I’ve been a SH and AHI loyalist from the beginning and please consider this as my honest feedback. I’m somewhat disappointed with today’s episode. I understand Sajal going global is huge but she was dressed terribly and I expect you to call it out. It’s not the same as calling her out for her acting or personality, both of which I’m sure are amazing. I’m not a Pakistani but I felt uncomfortable when cricketers were being discussed. They are amazing sportsmen and should be celebrated for their achievements. I understand this section didn’t aim to diss their achievements in any way, and the idea was to provide a constructive feedback to help them look more stylish. While the intention behind it is great, I still believe cricketers’ looks shouldn’t be commented on and the only thing speaking for them should be their game.

Why did Sajal get a pass ? Because she was a good actor …?????? That was such a lame excuse n so bias . Then why did the same not apply to the cricket team players .????? You praised them on their looks n performance but ripped them to shreds on their looks . They r the pride of Pakistan n representing us internationally as well also, so, It’s unfair that sajal gets a pass n they don’t . That is blatant bias.. sorry guys, you’re not playin fair 👎🏽

You are fashion critics for a reason. Sajal's style sense is horrible generally too. She doesn't experiment and looks the same. All her international events have been disasters. Please criticize her so that she hires a proper stylist.

Sajal outfit was awful and as it comes to representing Pakistan internationally, it DOES matter. You should have been able to say everything that was wrong with that outfit, especially as you went straight after talking about Tan France.

Our cricketers need grooming overall…not just styling in terms of clothes or haircuts, yes focus on game but other aspects of global represenatation of our country are also important. In the past, cricketers like Imran Khan, Wasim akram, ramiz raja were really well-spoken and confident. But these days, international media makes fun of our cricketers for not being able to handle questions well, not saying that they should speak english but overall mannerism, confidence and ability to tackle trickier questions should be worked on! When it comes to sajal, i agree with watever everyone else says, sajal looks really nice in local events and awards but God knows what happens to our celebrities when they go international… sajal’s look was atrocious but no one else has looked nice either in the recent events, be it joyland cast, ms.marvel red carpet and others… also Aamna and Tabish… if you discounted Sajal for talent then you should have discounted cricketers for talent and performance too but you did not, wondering why?!!

Performance has nothing to do with the outlook. Be honest and open with your reviews. Don’t defend someone’s disastrous look.

Guys while I understand why you guys went easy on Sajal Aly and Joyland team's Cannes fashion disaster that being said you guys could have added what she could have done better/change so she does not make another fashion faux pas on international platform. You guys can provide tips to actors on what kind of styles/fabric/makeup they should opt for when representing Pakistan on international platforms. When a Pakistani makes us proud internationally - similarly seeing them killing it with their fashion game on a prestigious platform makes us even more excited.

Tabish you are a stylist, can you not reach out to Sajjal for a style session specifically before an international event. She is a good actor but this was the third time she did a disaster on an international platform.

Agree with the 'Afreen' on Naseen Shah. He is kinda adorable. LOL on the comment on Parineeti's outfit. Also the outfits giving Burlesque/Belly Dancing vibes is so on point. I read some where (think the book 'French women don't get fat') that you should either show leg or cleavage, not both at the same time. I am ok with Sajjal Ali's experiment with the Desi fusion n goth makeup. A gown or saree would be safe n kinda boring to be honest. The Tilda Swindons n Evan Rachael Woods are always more interesting than the Jennifer Anistons on the red carpet (even though the experiments go wrong sometime). Love this show. Keep up the great work.

I understand it’s a huge deal for you guys that your star “went international” so you don’t want to look beyond that. Once again the editing is sooooo on point. I’ll always appreciate it because it’s so much work! 👏👏👏 Loved this episode. Completely agree with your reviews on all the styles today. I’m a huge Sajal aly fan and I do agree that this look just did not work for her. If maybe her hair and makeup were done a bit better ( hair tied up and minimal makeup) and not so much gotta on the Gharara, it might not have looked that bad. And yes for all the people who are saying they are biased, it’s true that the outfit was a disaster but that shouldn’t be the only thing to talk about as her efforts towards the entirety of this project was applaudable. The fact that she actually spoke well is a huge point to be appreciated since we all know public speaking is not her forte. Also let’s not forget that in Cannes festival the cast for joy land was also poorly dress and Amna and tabish chose to also not critique heavily just for the fact that the milestone they achieved was far more worthy of mention. This year has been a new journey for many of our actors to present themselves abroad and I guess for the first time red carpeters, we can give them that allowance. They should take this criticism positively and definitely look into working with stylists.

I totally disagree on every tabish's review . Sajal , Kriti, Kiara were looking so good . As far as it is concerned to cricketers. Hair cuts or shirt color combinations doesn't matter . Moving back into 90s when Imran Khan , wasim akram , Shoaib Akhtar played . They didn't have a proper cut . Have long hairs or unhi ko dekh k logo ny copy kia wo cut . Na hi tab koi facials thay . The only thing which matter is their performance. Amna there are number of stylists . Plz come up with others rather than chosing tabish in your every episode .
