I knew Shea had a lot of fashion knowledge but WOW hearing the detail and nuances in some of her takes is like listening to a drag fashion scholar. Her style development over the years is really special.
Shea is trained as a costume designer and has done this work professionally. She really knows her stuff! And, of course, we know Rajah has some chops when it comes to designing and constructing costumes. This is such a stellar duo.

Can we stop and appreciate this beautiful gift of these amazing black queens on Black History Month! Giving real helpful constructive criticism of each garment. Like literally you could take their advice tweak your outfit it have the most banging fit.
I’d love to see Shea and Sasha Velour as well. Also Violet and Sasha. I find it interesting to hear two very knowledgable people from completely different ends of the fashion spectrum. You get to compare and contrast different views of fashion and one may see things that the other normally wouldn’t.

It’s lovely to see Ra’Jah again, and her eye for detail that she gets from sewing basically all her own stuff is really helpful for someone like me who doesn’t know a lot about that side of things!!

Even Lemon has said that she is disgusted by the so-called "fans" who send racist hate at Pangina and that in her experience they do so because they don't have any friends in real life. And I would agree with her on that. Pangina was very hurt by the threats she was getting so yes, send her love and support.
raj’ah is such a refreshing host. i feel like almost all of the other hosts hold back so much with their criticisms, but i think there’s a way to be honest with constructive criticism in a way that doesn’t come across as harsh. it feels like too many of the queens hold back in fear of upsetting their dragrace sisters. but like if you’re not gunna be honest, what’s the point of this show?
So true! Criticism should be honest and presented in a constructive and supportive way. As long as you base your opinions on something which makes actual sense, nobody can come for you
We need to thank Shea and Rajah for going so in depth! Raven and other co host are normally the “shady” one or just reading the look where as Raja tries to do somewhat of this but essentially is very general and doesn’t go THIS in depth.
Honestly this is my fav fashion photo ruview to date, it was insightful, interesting and constructive. I hope they have these 2 amazing queens for the whole season, better yet, make them the judges lol.

Please bring these two back again. I appreciate how actually constructive the feedback is. Don't get me wrong I like Raja and Raven when they throw reads but I also really like the vibe of this. They're actually backing their critiques and how to improve on it.

This is Jujube's FOURTH time at the rodeo, and this is what she came up with for a "winning" mainstage look? A basic cross-halter dress and sensible nude heels? Girl, have you not been paying attention? And don't get me started on the visible seams showing through the slit. I mean, even a cheap-ass $25 dress on Wish would have a proper lining!

After seeing Janey's look a second time, I realized she's so freaking gorgeous. Like holy shhhh. That mug. She looks like a princess about to steal your crown and become a queen OKURRRR
She looks stunning. But I gotta say, the only time I've looked at Janey and thought "you're a winner" was in her drh finale angel wings and bodysuit, the burgundy hues and sequins, shut it DOWN. I don't hate her look here, but comparison wise I just felt so much passion and love for her craft on holland more than I felt in her presentation here.

I'm happy they included the moment of rajah praising shea and thanking her for giving her the inspo to audition for season 11. A note to all yall to go out and be great, you have no idea how your actions will inspire others to live their life and express themselves freely at the slightest encouragement from others living their own truth. Giving positive encouragement, even passively, is vindication to the queer people and allies of our past that fought so hard for our freedom to be ourselves. We have a long ways to go, but the change starts with you and the positivity you can bring to the table.
Excellent-Shea and Ra'Jah are armed with knowledge and impeccable taste. This should be the model shown some other hosts on how to provide constructive criticism that isn't ego-driven
The details in their review is so refreshing. I love how black people talk to each other with as few words as possible because that Jimbo's make up was a WHOLE conversation with very few words but we knew what they were saying 🤎 And Raja's laugh is probably my favorite sound in the world 😂
I live for Raja O'Hara, the queen who's known for sewing a dress on stage, giving technical fashion critiques. I love Shea too. We love to have this tandem more often.
