Plastique isn’t really doing a Pokemon reference 🤭 She is dressed as a Kitsune, which is a yokai in Japanese folklore. I know there is a Kitsune Pokemon but the yokai transforms into a beautiful woman.

Yup. Kitsune is a fox demon spirit , which can disguise itself in a humanoid form . This is referenced a lot in Japanese culture and anime. A very common trope actually. Pokemon , Naruto, inuyasha, etc it’s in almost every anime in a way

I think Plastique's reference was the 9-tailed Fox demon, which in Japan they called 'Kitsune' and in Korea, they called 'Kumiho' or 'Gumiho'. That usually portrayed as a beautiful lady with white hair and sharp long nails.
