Glen was great and Melissa was so lovely. I managed to get some shots during Glen's demo at the show. Thanks PIXAPRO for putting on a fantastic show. Nice to see this video to see Glen in Melissa in action.

Glen. Thank you so much. I really struggle with trying to master, understand using gels. I'm inspired to get a boom and get back in the studio. Really need to take my lighting to another level. This helps as I pick up tips so fast with your video.

Im bothered by the blown out hair with the side lighting. It was a tight shooting space and he probably couldn't bring down the power of the strobes; but maybe just not use them? That wouldn't have been good marketing though, showing you don't need ten thousand units of their product.

is that a Daylight Blue gel or a Primary Blue gel?

Hi Top Ramen, he actually used a sort of Cyan coloured gel, however, you should be able to achieve a similar result using a Blue Gel. Hope that helps

Is it just me or all Pixapro stuff looks exactly the same as Godox gear with a different logo on it...

I am not actually that impressed with this video. There is a lot more people out their producing way better results. It is screaming out to me that it needs a kicker light to cut her out from the background.
