This is such a VERSACE show, the looks, the make up and the hair, perfection is the only word I can think of to describe this show. The models are great!!! They have butt, breast and not too skinny at all. I wish to see more of these models again, some of them are doing very big job now, good choice on the models. This is my fav Versace winter collection, the dress over the boots, so elegant and yet so cool!!!
can’t believe this was 12 years ago yet the designs looks more modern, innovative, and chic than what donatella’s making today. and the models ugh the time when casting such big brands’ shows you have to be the best of the best, they don’t do it like this anymore...

Lioness Gaga These were the top editorial models and some of the best runways walkers in history. Most of these girls were casted in every blue chip designer ( Raquel, Caroline T, Anja, Natasha, Snejana). It is what it is. However Du Juan would do Spring 07, Jourdan Dunn would start walking regularly in Spring 09, Chanel Ilan would do spring 2010. Lastly Joan Smalls and Lais would come in and start walking every blue chip designer like these girls. It’s just trends.
Lioness Gaga no what I’m trying to say there are trends at this time was mainly trend of Eastern European models(Natasha, Snejana, Vlada, Hana, Eugenia) there have been high end models of color who became the number one model in the world. Liya Kebede, Joan Smalls and currently Adut Akech all bringing different aesthetics to women of African descent. I agree more diversity would have been better. I just grew up on the eastern European girls of this generation and they are pretty iconic. Especially for runway.
And I’m glad there ain’t diversity, just talented models, even although it was the anorexic doll era, at least they were talented... diferent from what we do have now with the diversity.
Honestly 2006-2008 was Donatella's best era. The clothing was so chic and it looked expensive, the shows were classy, the music was always on point, and the models were absolutely incredible. When they got that round runway it all just went downhill

its a shame they abused her so much!! she hardly ever got any openings or closings!! they used her as a workhorse model!! but she adopts her walk to the vibe of every show!! a true professional and icon!!
That runway is so filthy. It is full of footprints. You supposed to wipe reflexive surfaces, especially when light is going to shine down on it. Did they not hire people to clean the runway? I know Gianni made sure he did.
These models are amazing and have gorgeous facial features that are suitable for modelling not to forget their killing walks. Unlike the Hadids, Kendall garbage and the like.
@Bill she left because they bullied her for gaining weight!! they did not even want to hear about a chunky model. now here we are all about inclusivity!! inclusivity should have happened way before!! i remember some of her shows before she left and she was looking healthier and had a small belly and the tabloids ripped her apart!!!
Ever since Instagram became popular fashion went downhill. They don't do shows like this anymore and the models are ugly like The Hadids, Kendall and Cara the only thing that matters is how many followers on Instagram they have
1:07 Marciacarla Boscono. One of the most iconic supermodels ever... for sure the best catwalk. Nothing to envy Naomi Campbell. Elegance, attitude, personality glamour. She was overrated in my opinion. But people who knows about fashion industry will be alright with me.
Why doesn't the industry get that the model line up really makes the show. We need actual models back like these. The girls today all ano 12 year olds who have awful walks bar Jordan & Sasha Luss.
Yeah I get that I wouldn't expect these girls to all be still doing runway but why were they all such amazing walkers? Did they get some kind of coaching or something? I feel like the industry should realize that better models are going to sell the clothes better there for they should be putting more effort into the newer girls.
lmao this is bullshit. it's not because of how much energy and effort fashion month takes, it s because THESE SHOWS ARE 10+ YEARS OLD! they aren't fresh and young anymore. fashion always looks for fresh faces and younger models. all of these girls are 30+, of course they don't do runway anymore ..

BTW Romina has so short gaptime between 2 commanding entries 4:58 and with second topfaces parade - 8:22 she rocks the beat again Also this is only one show of AnjaR first Versace era when she had formal gown entry.
Also I want to note this is another and 2nd FallWinter Versace PAP show CarmenKass missed. though she was making it in Men's fashion show. First was FW 2001-2002 Also I wonder why she missed Versace PAP SS 2000

@Fall Winter 2005 Caroline W or some other models in that show don't have a great present either but here they are when they don't compare to Dewi's walk in the slightest. Dewi had her moments sometimes, she didn't always look like a filler.
