Flat bottom slugs are better as the probe pushes the slug past the transfer port where as a concaved slug sits half way over the port. And the flat bottom works better at transonic speed.
If you have some experience using Fusion 360, you can easily design your own mold and send the cad files to a company like PCB way. They can even make it out of tool steel. 👌
I'm over here casting and making ammunition for many rifle and pistol calibers. I'm glad I live in a country in which we can keep and bear arms. Don't get me wrong, pellet guns are fun too, but not quite as impactful.
@@toycam800 at current ammunition prices, I am poor. Most of my brass comes from picking up range scrap, I pay $36 for lead ingots =1000's of castings, I buy powder coat on the cheap, used toaster oven, and now, I'm even trying to reload my used primers. Independence is why I started reloading, and it's cheaper.
