Perfect timing! My cat, God bless him, decided to sharpen his claws on two of my window screens last night. Let's all the insects in. Great tutorial, I feel confident I can do this. (PS A few weeks back, I had some home renovation guys say they'll replace all my screens but they quoted WAY too much. We're talking hundreds of dollars)

Oh no! There are actually window screens available that are 'pet resistant' which might hold up better to cat claws. They are a bit thicker than normal screens - you might give that a try. Installation should be exactly the same.
